#enlistens Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May Pretty good listen. Has very high energy to it. Fav tracks: 8 - Through Glass, completely different than the rest of the album, so much so I thought their overall sound was more grungy than rock/metal. Track 10 and 11 are also vibes.

#enlistens First up: Perfect Playlist Trace Volume 2. This is an old fave even though it is extremely basic eurotrash trance. Best tracks are 2, 4 and 11. Super easy to listen to while working, and I think that has influenced the kind of bg music I like to listen to nowadays.

Snippet of a work in progress jayvik fic: The thing in front of him wasn’t Viktor.

It didn’t look like him, didn’t move like him. Even the voice that resonated from its metal shell was only a pantomime of Viktor’s soft, accented timbre.

Jayce had to believe it wasn’t him. Just like he had to believe killing Viktor had been the right choice. The only choice. That Viktor had wanted him to do it, that he had smiled when Jayce took aim and let the cannon blast hit him dead on—right in the heart.

But now this construct, this thing, with all the hallmarks of their research, the Hexcore’s delicate plated metal and whirling patterns of white and gold, the bifurcated flashes of rot and un-life that was to be their future in this dead, doomed world—approached.

Jayce couldn’t respond in time. His hammer had never felt heavier. That thing flipped over him, wrapped around him, unyielding like steel, but only just tight enough to keep him still, not to hurt. A cold hand over his heart, another grasping his chin. A thin, smooth plate of metal like a kiss beneath his lip.
