Hi, @rachel-aaron.bsky.social! Your Heartstriker series is one of my favorite listens of recent memory! I'd love to listen to the the spinoff DFZ Changeling series. For those of us who are avoiding Amazon/Audible, can you recommend where to purchase these audiobooks? I don't see them on Kobo. :(

THREAD: The FDA has made it difficult to find where medications are made. Today we're changing that with our latest tool. With Rx Inspector, it’s possible to see your drug’s manufacturing facility and what the FDA found during its inspections. Here's how you can use it. 1/

Screenshot of Rx Inspector webpage, where users can look up where their generic prescription drugs were made. A blue button prompts people to "begin your search." The background illustration shows a man inspecting a giant red and white pill capsule.

Anyone else find themselves inexplicably subscribed to a bunch of #substack email lists they never signed up for? WTF?! I just found this option in Settings that I hope nips this annoyance in the bud. (this post is not an endorsement of using Substack!)

Substack Security Setting to: Require email verification when subscribing. Prevents other people from adding you to email lists.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features." There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

This story is extraordinary even by 2025 standards. Marco Rubio, the nation's top diplomat, made a deal with Bukele and agreed to renege on informant agreements in a years-long DOJ investigation into MS-13, totally undercutting credibility of such agreements. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump’s El Salvador prison deal

To secure U.S. access to President Nayib Bukele’s notorious CECOT prison, Rubio agreed to turn over several MS-13 leaders central to a long-running Justice Department investigation.

Today I learned that Abe Books is owned by Amazon. 💩 If you're in the market for used books, you may consider an alternative. Better World Books is good (affiliated with @archive.org). Any others? #Booksky #EthicalConsumption #BoycottAmazon
