i very much feel the "me from 5 years ago would be concerned" sometimes it seems like the worry is part of how this happens? like, the darker things dont sit well and affect enjoyment of the kink. some can ignore it, or invent workarounds, but here the move is "enter the dark and see what you find"

deer considers that “unaware because you are playing it cool/pretending nothing is wrong” is different from “unaware because you havent noticed”. break that down into who is responsible for the unawareness and whether they are doing it purposefully or unintentionally
