#JustBeatIt Fallout 4 - Played a bunch of hours on release and never finished it. Went back, 60 hours later and brought home the W. Was conflicted on the story until I remembered it was just a video game. This is in fact, a Fallout game. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social #JustBeatIt God of War 3 remaster. The game looks outstanding and the action is great. Hated the flying segments. Don’t love the Max Payne blood maze thing at the thing but it is a bold choice. I platinumed this game and swore I’d never play it again but my dark soul couldn’t resist fighting Gael 1 more time. Fun cosmic horror experience with some occasional frustration with the controls. Great visuals, mood and aesthetic. Couch co-oped it by controller passing with my wife. Absolute banger of a game. The platinum grind however is not worth it unless you’re a silly goose. But definitely worth your time for some awesome boss fights, very memorable second half and one giant sword with which to hit things. #JustBeatIt Ghost of Yotei. Incredibly epic & cinematic game. Fun combat and stunning art design. The only gripe was that enemy encounters felt samey after a while. But that “same” was still a blast. Well, I died a lot more than twice I can tell you that. One of the best combat systems in any game I’ve played. That classic FromSoft addictive feeling with some great twists. This may have slipped its way into my top 10 games of all time. #JustBeatIt Cyberpunk 2077. A beat almost 5 years in the making. Bought day one on PS4 and it was unplayable. Started again after all the patches and bounced off. Eventually started a 3rd playthrough and finally brought it home. Nothing outstays its welcome and the new gimmicks keep the game fresh and the good times rolling. #JustBeatIt again, Dark Souls Remastered. Well, 4 times actually but now I have the platinum and it only took me 181 hours. Who’s a loser now DAD! Anyway Dark Souls is decent you should check it out sometime. #JustBeatIt Dark Souls Remaster and its DLC Artorias of the Abyss. Uncle Doug watched me play this and says “There was some weird snakes with hound dog ears, a spider lady thats like my ex Pauline and Kevin was cussing to beat the band.” Anyways, I beat Dark Souls.
