With the Wilmanns lab @embl.org we reveal cryoEM structures of an essential, bifunctional acyl-CoA carboxylase from mycobacteria. @wertheimufscripps.bsky.social This ~ 600 kDa enzyme is asymmetric, rotatory, has unusual stoichiometry, and unique E5 subunits. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
