I got to see Rachel Reid at a Vancouver Writers Fest event on Monday and wore my Game Changers t-shirt in honour of the evening. The voracious queer romance reader in me had a blast ☺️

me & my 9 albums This was nearly impossible. Likely wouldn’t look the same if I tried again, as there were 50+ other albums in the picture at some point, but gives a broad look at some of my all-time faves. Go figure my final list would be very concentrated on the late 2000s and early 2010s 🥴

Oh dang, didn’t know Glad Day moved! It’s been almost three years since I last visited though so natural the village has changed a bit. I’ll be there for a week and staying near the Village but happy to venture wherever. Can probably figure out closer to!

111

Spencer @spennybear.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Sounds like a plan! I’ve been to a few and always had a good time but haven’t caught one on my past TO trips. I know Glad Day does weekend drag brunches and Miss Moço does one at the Drake, and probably there’s a few more throughout the village ☺️

I definitely want to go to a drag brunch when I am visiting Toronto in November and always happy to have some company 😌

Ah yeah, I imagine it sold out the same morning the tickets went on sale - the venue is not the biggest. New season is looking promising so far based on the casting news!

Thanks! On the shortlist of shirts to wear when I go see Rachel Reid at the Vancouver Writers Festival in a few weeks haha

Totally. I haven’t bought any new products since 2022 since it felt the hobby was getting out of control but leave it to a nostalgia anniversary set to try and pull me back in 😩

I stupidly went to check my local EB Games after my dentist appointment at 4PM and the employee had a good laugh (they sold out pretty much right after opening 😅)

Is this going to be #MMOautumn? Recently resubbed to Final Fantasy XIV. Might hop into MapleStory Classic World with some friends for a kick of nostalgia next month. And now WoW Forever is announced for November? I don’t have enough time fam 😭

Post-Slayyyter concert pic from the Vancouver show last week. Sad face cause I didn’t want it to end 😅 So much fun, ran into a number of friends and the crowd’s energy was amazing. Immaculate vibes all around 🫶🏻 #gaycouple #gaybears

I read through the Billboard Top 100 Songs of 2006 list earlier and it reminded me of this gem. I was OBSESSED with these groups back then and I totally drank the kool aid for the Snakes on a Plane movie, so this got a ton of spins. youtu.be/A1wMyKQ6jUg?...

Someone please come confiscate my Kindle. Bought it in early December. I went from reading roughly one book per year over the past decade to reading 20 books in less than two months 😭 Might have to revise my Reading Challenge goal book count a bit.
