Will the scan be open-sourced / publicly available?

I'm thinking about distributing a server application this way which should auto-update when we push a new release without any user interaction. Most pragmatic might be to add the respective platform equivalent of setting up a cron job to rerun the install against latest to the install.sh.

Any recommendations on how to auto add an auto-update? And is this already automatically adding the CLI app to the PATH?

I was really looking forward to ty as replacement for pylance/pyright. Really sad if this would result in ty being dropped.

It's getting better. Sonnet 4.6 still occasionally does it but already a big step up. The bullshitbench reflects that issue very well. Looking forward to that being solved. 🤞

Undoubtedly FOSS will change but I'm optimistic that it's going to be a net positive.

I looked into this lately to check our options and came to the same conclusion. Yes, I can run Kimi K2.5 on a cluster of 10 DGX Spark for around 40k€ but it's unusably slow. I think your numbers are still too low. If you want to run Kimi K2.5 with full precision and context length you need 67xH100

Recently thought about a model which takes a delineation instruction / segmentation protocol as input and provides the respective segmentation(s). Today I read VoxelPrompt. Super interesting work by Andrew Hoopes, Victor Ion Butoi, John Guttag and @adriandalca.bsky.social.

Our work focuses on using ML for MRI segmentation to quantify brain regions, tissues, and lesions. This supports radiologists and neurologists in diagnosing and monitoring neurodegenerative diseases.

Thanks for the list. Would like to be added as well.

I understand why it's not atm. but looking forward to a future where quantification is the routine.

For a high quality volumetry we need 3D scans.

Would that allow uv to offer building an OS independent executable like PyInstaller does? pyinstaller.org
