Excited to be directing a short this weekend!

My 16 month old asks for the same book over and over again. I like that he enjoys books but I can’t help but praying for a new ending. Like could the rainbow fish keep his scales this time?

"The Compatriots", de Spencer Cohen, segue Javi, imigrante ilegal e gay, cuja luta para existir se confunde com a luta para ficar. O filme transforma a experiência migratória de deslocamento em crônica universal sobre pertencimento e dignidade. cinematografiaqueer.blogspot.com/2025/11/the-...

Thank you so much @cinematoqueer.bsky.social for the beautiful review. A translated excerpt here: "The Compatriots" embraces contradiction: it's a film that makes you laugh while your heart tightens, balancing social critique and affection without becoming didactic or sentimental." Watch today!

My debut feature, The Compatriots is available on Apple and Amazon this weekend! The film tells the story of a young undocumented Dreamer trying to find a way to stay in the only country he’s ever known. Afterwards go out and support the compatriots in your life ❤️ #indiefilm #daca

ScriptSky members, I built an app for getting a bird's-eye view of your screenplay! Avoid getting lost in scene-to-scene details by visually tracking pacing, character appearances, & INT/EXT DAY/NIGHT scenes. Helps with structure & budget. Looking for early testers! Comment & I'll DM you access.

Whoa Thirty, Dirty and Trying made the Red List! What started as an outpouring of emotions after my wife and I suffered a miscarriage has turned into a beautiful, funny and heartwarming script. We are one step closer to getting it made! Let me know if you would like to read it. #scriptsky

So excited to continue our festival journey to the Beloit Film Fest in 2025! So many great films have played there over the years and we are honored to be a part of that legacy. Films about DACA are more important than ever and we are grateful to spread that message around the United States.

The Trailer for my first feature as Writer/Director, The Compatriots. It’s an award winning bromance about immigration inspired by my best friend / producer, a Dreamer who came to America as a young child. We are currently in the middle of a great festival run and will be released in 2025!
