when they ask for vending machines on the beach I'm like "they can't help it, it's simply their nature ☺️ I love you all the same" but when they make it impossible for me to take a nice vacation photo i'm like (Arthur fist clench.)

speaking of yellow... the other day i taught a pokemon Rock Slide and thought "this move has such a weird sound effect!" and like a day later, i happened to be reading the helix chamber blog post where they mentioned Rock Slide overwriting a move called "Star Freeze" and i was like ohhhhhh

chris 🤖 spellbot - 75% @spellbot.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

i had to specify yellow or someone might find this post 5 years later and reply "Why dont u just duplicate nuggets with missingno at cinnabar island IDOIT"

chris 🤖 spellbot - 75% @spellbot.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

i found out i can do the trainer fly/ditto glitch in yellow without battling or losing to a trainer (options which used up the battle forever/wasted a bunch of my money, respectively) Thenk you for my life youtube user pandakekok9 🙇

having lots of fun in Yellow now that I can encounter ditto :) however the item storage situation is extremely dire & making my collection of duplicated stacks of TMs is not helping ☹️ i shouldnt have picked up the (completely optional) Exp.All i thought it would be good

I Grew Up With Gen 1 it's just that going back to how things were before all the quality-of-life/balance/bug fixes feels like (concrete scraping noise) like i immediately went into Erika's gym and had to fight a bunch of Bellsprouts with Wrap and Bind... absolutely disgusting

went from doing a gen 3 (pokemon) playthrough to gen 2 and i was like "too bad Huge Power Azumarill doesn't exist here and the box system is unwieldy but i still love this gen ^_^!" and *then* i picked up a gen 1 playthrough i'd left off in college and i'm like

Fucked up desolate xeroxed emoji face with heavy shadows and darkened eyes

i didn't have to google a specific Secret list of berries to progress, so people spreading misinfo that you'd be required to do that....... is completely inconsequential but just a little bit annoying to me

my nephew put on a Legends ZA dlc video where a streamer was failing to make the Special Plot Donut & didn't realize he didn't have enough points in Bitter and Fresh, but his chat was telling him "it's because you need to use an exact combination of berries 🤓" I wanted to scream

my Switch is old as balls so i figure the game might benefit from a bit of a performance boost. generally it seems like using homebrew is pretty safe as long as you follow certain boundaries but sometimes there's the odd comment like "I overclocked once and nintendo banned my console IMMEDIATELY"

got Pokémon Violet for xmas, so i have a question for anyone knowledgeable abt nintendo switch modding: will nintendo kick my ass if i use sys-clk (overclocking) on sysMMC? my understanding is that I'm relatively safe as long as I'm not cheating online/pirating/adding homebrew to the home menu/etc

i found it but it's Speed Version. idk why i keep thinking it's Power... classic blunder oh also I've finally fixed my childhood gameshark by reflashing the rom :-) the official gameshark software has its own firmware update option, but i think it got corrupted and rendered my gameshark useless. 😔

i did the PLZA DLC side mission to evolve a guy's gimmighoul fully intending to give it back to him, so i was bewildered when he was like "Can I have it back pleeease 🥺" that's your pokemon dude. I would never try to tear apart your beautiful friendship

EV training feels relatively quick in legends ZA, with the tradeoff being that random pokemon love to run directly into the path of my attacks. like Man, now i gotta waste a hondew berry to clean off this numel residue
