No AI, this is a real photo taken by Percy’s engineering cameras of astronomical twilight on #Mars! You can see Deimos in the sky too. I worked pretty hard to plan, execute, and analyze this image, and it came out beautifully! A bit noisy, but it was very dark out after all. #astro #planetary

Astronomical twilight on Mars, including the moon Deimos. Taken by the Engineering Cameras aboard the Perseverance Rover.

Photobashed Desert, 2020. This was part of a phase where I was experimenting with combining royalty-free photo assets and Krita's Gradient Map tools. Here I'm using color palettes yoinked from Hylics 2 screenshots.

HYLICS KART: Somsnosa. May 2020. I remember listening to Gorillaz "Double Bass" on loop while making this one. I wanted the characters to have very different outfits than their original designs, which perhaps makes them less recognizable, but was nonetheless quite fun. I should redraw this sometime.

HYLICS KART: Wayne. May 2020. This was the month I got my drawing tablet and started experimenting with Krita. At the time, I was a moderator on the Hylics discord server and would regularly stream F-Zero GX and other racing games in voice chat, so "Hylics Kart" was a running joke.

Whoa, Wayne Hylics! This is a style experiment I did back in May 2020, shortly before I bought my drawing tablet. These were drawn with alcohol markers, digitized with a crummy phone camera, then colored and dithered in GIMP. His face here would later become a recurring artistic flourish.

Hylics Golf, drawn I think in April 2020 with Posca pens and microns on Canon 9x12 Multimedia paper. At the time, Chuck and Mason would regularly host Instagram livestreams of them playing Everybody's Golf, which inspired this. Shockingly, that red Posca still isn't totally dead yet.

hiiii can i be put through the bluesky artist rock tumbler. i do traditional drawings and paintings and sometimes digital art but i specialize in a hybrid of both. i like to bring awareness to the option of it being a happy mixed-medium 🥁 between the two that might really work for some people

watercolored drawing of a purple and yellow venetian mask jester. a character from jabroni mike's streams

a wayne from hylics with a tall collar cape, and an interpretation of an unused character, Instar. he is wearing a blue beak mask under a large red straw hat and collar, with a red poncho. they are both looking behind to the right, towards the light source

watercolored drawing live portrait study of an older black lady with medium-short curly hair, wearing an earing and a puffy white vest and shirt. she is looking to the right, showing a long earing with a ring of beads. the background circle is a dirty teal

text reads "dude my date is adorable, im so nervous.". a traditional drawing colored digitally of the same hylics characters from image 2. the wayne is seated eating a burrito, talking with his mouth full. an abstracted clay bird is eating from his burrito, and wayne is pointing at it. instar is in the foreground and watching this unfold.
