📢New Chapter 4 #Engelbaum [draft] page just uploaded. The feeling when another artist beats you to your idea. 😑 Full page on Patreon: www.patreon.com/trippy/posts...

A very sketchy messy half drawn Imagni berates herself infront of her talented better drawn peer who fully has her shit figured out.

Well I still physically feel like a trash fire but at least seeing my friends at school again made me cheer up. Japanese level 3 is already SO difficult 😭 especially with the long break I had. But I refuse to give up, I'd rather fail dramatically.

My Japanese school here in London. It's getting dark outside and the street is empty.

I'm sure Meio Dia's learning curve went something like this with her music. #Engelbaum

left: Meio Dia sits in a pile of shitty mixtapes containing arrangements of speed cowbell. She loves it. Its bad.

right: Meio Dia composes the most beautiful orchestral score of her professional career and fucking hates it.

Here's my art from 1985 ;u; I was obsessed with mermaids. I drew around my hand for her octopus. It's so tiny!! 😭 I love how her eyelashes are coming out of her eyebrows *lmao* this is what being an artist is about.

A pretty mermaid drawn by a child. She has very long blonde hair and a green pet octopus on a leash.

this was back when i was trying my hardest to make animation cel style art by inking on plastic. The entirely wrong type of plastic that wouldn't hold ink.

So you may be a fan of my art but are you a pre NiGHTS into dreams dot com, pre angelfire, pre server, pre forum - TRiPSiDE fan of my art? Found this terrible ancient relic in storage.

small chill walk turned into very long walk that lasted until 1am XD; It was so nice just hanging out with everyone though casually without having to do escape room puzzles. Next week we'll get back to regular but today was lovely :) #bigwalk

9 isn't enough and these are all mostly old anime I loved back then. But yeah I grew up on Guyver and Tenchi.

1. Magical Girl Pretty Sammy series (+ the majority of Tenchi)
2. Spirited Away because I had to choose one.
3. 3x3 eyes I loved as a kid.
4. Guyver. I loved the hyperviolence, lol.
5. Devilman! I've still not watched the modern version. But birdboobs lol.
6. El Hazard, I think I got a lot of my art style from that series.
7. Gunsmith cats i really liked the characters and cars.
8. Sonic OVA of course.
9. The original Fruits Basket series. Very cosy.

Today's the anniversary of my best friend Nova passing away and I find myself wondering what she would have made of everything that's happened (both good and bad) since then. I think of all the new things she would have loved or been a fan of. I miss you and I will keep drawing glitter always 💖

😭NEEEEEW: #Engelbaum Chapter 3 Page 14 finished. This took me ages. 🌈You can read the whole comic so far on my website at- www.spectramisarts.com It's a story for people who love art and imagination. Shares always appreciated 🧡🎨 #art #artists #comics #dreams

Panel 1: Imagni walks down a dimly lit hallway with her Flow, contemplating her course of action before meeting her classmates.
Imagni: "That... that was okay. But maybe too needy? I'll save that version- for Meio Dia."
Imagni strokes her chin in thought.
"Not that I'm pursuing those feelings right now. Or am I?"
(Gala cringes hard in the background to herself unseen by Imagni.)

Panel 2: Imagni and Gala walk down the same corridor in exaggerated chibi form. Imagni looks like she's having a meltdown from overthinking.
Imagni: "HMMMRRRRGHHHH! I just need to be myself. I shouldn't try too hard or I'll come off as pushy. They'll either be better than me or worse than me. But I don't want to make any enemies so I can't look too happy if it turns out I'm cycles more talented than I thi--
OH WHO AM I KIDDING?! I already know I'll be the worst creator the Core has ever seen."

Panel 3: Gala silently stands and exhales through her mask looking both thoughtful and irritated by Imagni. Her bright yellow Flow is a little smaller around her head like a flower halo.

Panel 4: Gala phases out into a swirly shower of glowy floaty yellow flower petals. SE- PLIFF!

Panel 5: A top down establishing shot of Imagni standing by herself in front of a hugely ornate marble doorway leading into Meio Dia's classroom. There is a huge glittering chandelier hanging above her head. Imagni stands on a red carpet leading into the room. The floor and walls are covered in gold art deco patterns.
Imagni: " Well... I guess this is the place."

Panel 6: A wide shot of Imagni gripping her map/letter nervously trying to be confident. She is sweating but trying her best to look like she's not about to run back down the corridor.
Imagni: "I can do this."
"I can be myself"
"Time to say hello to everyone!"

AAA this is a perfect shade actually. It's more orange/red than my usual ginger dye but not as neon orange as the box I can make my hair more neon (like normal) if I want but I really love this shade. It was decent to apply too. Looked like Renbow but with box dye ammonia mixed in.

I love these nylon culottes I got from #Uniqlo last month. If you're a UK size 18/20 just know that the XXL from their online store will fit your butt. They're so baggy and dry in the sun I love them. I need to collect the other colours.
