yes AI is also bad for countless other reasons, but like, when i think of the kind of technological breakthroughs this moment demands, the ability to make everything sloppier, faster, cheaper, and more environmentally costly is NOT on the list

i actually cannot possibly wrap my head around the idea of staring down the barrel of the climate crisis and going “you know what we need to do? pour untold billions of dollars into a technology that consumes a ridiculous amount of water and pollutes and warms the environment even faster”

Workshopping a beta design for my eevee-absol hybrid and idk what palette to go with Xp I don't need to decide anytime soon so it's okey

The same character side-by-side with different color palettes.

Universally, the character has a fluffy scruff, a "sock" pattern on their front right leg, and generally round shapes for their fur tufts. Their ears are floppy and shaped like a dog's, rather than long and thin. They have pink eyes and bear a white crescent horn sprouting from the upper right side of their head. With wide eyes looking slightly down, their expression is neutral, with a hint of contemplation. Pink-tinted light hits them from above.

The character on the left has a very bright palette, borrowing more from Absol's light coat. Most of the body is blue-gray, while the neck scruff, tail tip, and front right leg are close to white. The character on the right borrows more from Eevee, with rich brown colors.

2017 x 2026! Not my first digital art ever, but one of the earliest that I still have and can find the date of! Drew it on Animal Jam Classic's art studio :P

A large feline mammal leaping over a galaxy of pink and blue-green stars. She has a thick, fluffy coat of fur like that of a lynx, and it especially bunches up toward the neck. The fur tufts protruding from her cheeks have a sharp silhouette like crescent blades, and her ears are long and pointed angled to the sides. Her eyes and smile are joyful, with a mischievous yet well-meaning air. Behind her, her many tails curl, forming a gateway-like structure that frames a bright source of light from beyond, like a portal to another world. It shines intensely on her back, and a gentler blue glow highlights her from below. The texture of the light is messy and splattered.
