Wow thanks!! There is this researcher by the name of Frank Jones that says this under (4) Hans Carl. Apparently it's old German and a lot is different than how modern words are used. Think the ai got it all wrong with master tailor. Still it's so neat to be able to see the physical writing survived.

Also I found a research paper on it here that seems to untangle it and suggests master tailor isn't there at all. Appreciate the fresh eyes all, this is tougher than first thought but a great finding of my 5x great grandfather.👍👍👍

Thanks for all that looked at it, all great suggestions. This was run thru ai translator /transcription (which I don't trust ) As I've been learning I may have hoisted too much here thinking a German reader could read the cursive, but I wasn't aware it's older German that has different rules.

Can any of my German friends take as look at this record to see if any of the translation looks off? The record is from 1703 Könnte sich einer meiner deutschen Freunde diesen Eintrag ansehen und prüfen, ob die Übersetzung irgendwo seltsam wirkt? Der Eintrag stammt aus dem Jahr 1703.

A word of caution for DIY projects that involve replacing a modern kitchen highbay faucet. Not for the faint of heart, Hire a plumber! This was the 3rd and they don't get easier. Antlers just don't fit under there, my hooves can't reach the nut and my nose gets stuck on the disposal every time!
