What came out of the chrysalis was different than expected... An artificial crystalline amalgam created on the hopes of civilization for a greater good 🎨 : @spearxwind.bsky.social Alex put so much time and effort in this and I'm still pouring over it. Thank you so much!!! ( #Sona #Oc #Cyggy )

Digital artwork of a monster hunter creature reference that depicts a dark dragon with its core and ribs exposed with an internal light. They have aspects of Safi'jiiva yet their underside is crystalline and exposed with bioenergy converting to a physical form as crystals. Bottom Right text is "Cyrexi'jiiva".

Got my ears pierced again finally after years of putting it off 🫡 now I'm all decked out (hopefully they'll heal properly, I absolutely haven't forgotten that the crucible is not the piercing but the healing) but being dripped out is worth it fr

Bonus 'finished' doodles ehehe ✨ ( the second is inspired by x.com/B00_Rad/stat... HEHEH) Down to the color patterns, swirling gradients and every expression, Alex persevered with such patience and attentiveness to accomplish this version of myself so fully - it shows!! It super shows, tysm!! 🤲☀️🌿✨⚡

Colored doodle from the reference sheet, of my MHsona Cieran's anthro (and eyed) form tapping his two index claws together with gigantic hopefully pleading eyesballs at the viewer, he is so polite
The text reads: "Looks at you with my BIGASS tobi-kadachie eyes"

Colored doodle from the reference sheet, of my MHsona Cieran's quadrupedal (and eyeless) form raising its clawed hand to its snout with a chittery giggle, sharp teeth bared in a devious grin
You know what the text reads :]

I went out and got a design for the Fenrir Suneater's robot body! The Fenrir Suneater is Gikata's ship, and it has a sapient AI (thanks to cramming weird alien tech into the ship repeatedly), and said AI decided they want to be able to fit into human-scale places. Artist: @spearxwind.bsky.social

Reference sheet for Fenrir Suneater aka Fen's robot wolf body. Fen is the AI for a starship, but they wanted a human-scale body for when an entire spaceship can't fit places. The robot body looks vaguely like a wolf, but with large spikes down its back and legs, and its chest looks like ribs containing a bright fire, playing on the "Suneater" idea. Detail shots also show its head (with concealed plasma canon in the mouth) and forepaw/hand.

Tobi time... but also, not quite! 🌃🐍⚡ A warped entity bearing the instincts of two species, both Natural and Other 🎨: @spearxwind.bsky.social ⚡💥🔥 ✨Alex put in an absolutely crazy amount of time and patience and work to yield my MHsona - thank you so very much, matey ;-; 🌿 [ #cieran #tobikadachi ]

Digital artwork of a hybrid Monster Hunter monster character, a Tobi-Kadachi with features of a Gore Magala. Text at the top left reads: "Cieran - Aethershift Eclipse Wyvern - Tobi-Kadachi Afflicted By Gore Magala Mutagen"

The anthro form appears more Tobi-like, especially at the head, torso and patagium, and tail; while the limbs and claws are more g. magala

The quadrupedal form however has more g. magala influence clearly showing, with the head and body majorly Gore Magala and the addition of the Magala wing-arms. However, the membranes still appear vaguely fishy, and the tail is that of a Tobi still

Various text informations dot the piece, giving small blurbs about the character's senses or features. At the bottom right are various doodles that Alex independently came up with, these are like the seal for this being a personal character of mine as they are all "Real (tm)", these happen! A billion fish facts BLAST, looking at you with my BIG Tobi-Kadachi eyes, all the works c:

STOP MAKING MUSIC JUST TO FIT IT TO A REEL!!!! STOP MAKING SONGS THAT ONLY SOUND GOOD WHEN CUT UP INTO PIECES!!! IT MAKES YOUR SONG LOOK STUPID AND YOUR BAND LIKE A SCAMMER RING!!! ENOUGH!!!

Im never trusting instagram reels with recommending me music again what the fuck. you are all con artists man.... making a reel with like 20 seconds of a song that sounds super badass and then you look up the song and its total garbage and completely different from those 20 seconds!!! WHY!! HOW!!!

Fullbody commission, had a lot of fun with the blood (as usual)

Worms-eye-view scene of a fish man standing in an alleyway, covered in blood. The image is entirely in black and white, save for the bright red blood dripping from down from his hands and pooling at his feet. The upper half of his torso is obscured by shadow aside from one glowing white pupil.

Another thing to remember on this bisexual day is that The Grungler is canonically bi. I do enjoy how it's become a term for "token cis guy who hangs out with a bunch of trans weirdos" but the original post was also about straight women being weird about bi men.

women will go on a 1st date with a guy and things will be going well until the guy casually mentions he's bi and she'll go home and start posting stuff like like 'we need to normalize being straight' and 'whatever happened to beauty' meanwhile the guy went home to play video games with a bunch of weird discord transsexuals and he named his character 'the grungler' and he keeps saying stuff like 'check it out guys, i'm the grungler'

The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
