This IS the AKC trick dog title right? I know the big difference between them and ckc trick dog is CKC recognizes this title earned through DMWYD organization (Do More With Your Dog). The whole thing is to get people do have fun with their pets :)

Oh it’s not a big complaint. I use both platforms and still prefer X. I have that one better curated than bsky right now. I don’t really trim the experience much though - I like to see things as they are! Once in a while I will TEMPORARILY block some keywords if I’m tired of a particular topic!

Totally not attacking you or defending him and I apologize if it came off that way. I just think it’s silly to attack the artist over allowing him to vend, way prior to this trip happening, then insinuating they endorse him if they don’t reply to you within a set time. That is the entirety of it.

I was just looking at the trick dog titles out here and the first one was 15 tricks! Then when I read the list of what qualifies, I realized Pilot already knows 15 based on the criteria! Also, you can just video the dog doing it and send it in? Great idea to get people to do stuff with their dogs!

The price anchoring is my favourite — “didn’t cost nearly as much as the professional F2, but same quality feel” — it puts the pro version in your head first, and that you can have that for less…but “quality feel” means NOTHING.

Wasn’t born when this one came out, but I’m immediately seeing that manipulation in ads was just as much a thing then as now. Lots of appeal to identity/self-image. (It was important in that era to be seen as creative). Problem solving framing. Price anchoring. Lots of vague, positive claims lol
