Who I mistook that for at first glance, I've since identified him as Captain Marvel. Y'know Ozymandias from Watchmen? In the way that all the heroes in that were knockoffs of older characters Moore wasn't allowed to use, Ozymandias was based on this guy.

Get you one of these, they're like $30 and just turn the bites off. Above a certain temp, the protein in the venom denatures and just stops itching. In the olden days, they used to do it by heating a metal spoon, but that way is tricky. Too hot, you burn yourself. Not hot enough, no effect.
