John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 29/07/2026While I am on the diabetic side, I am curious as to how Coke Zero mixes. Let's face it Diet Coke does not taste anywhere near Coke, but Coke Zero, I cannot tell the difference. 000
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 21/06/2026Hear me out. Mark in portraying Luke is James Earl Jones son via amazing voice acting. Since Arnold Schwarzenegger in portraying Conan is James son also via amazing acting. Are Mark and Arnold brothers? Or at least Luke and Conan? 162
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 18/10/2025Call was specifically geared for cosmic horror, but Chill you could go from Hammer horror to pulp horror, badfilm horror, X-Files, all the way to Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters. There were more ways to dial it up or down for a campaign. And Elvira lent her name and likeness to a compilation book! 000
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 18/10/2025I knew about all four, tho Stalking the Night and Beyond only through Dragon magazine ads. Call of Cthulhu and Chill I had much time with. While we played a lot more CoC, I always preferred Chill for horror. 100
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 14/07/2025And to be honest, I wanted to get them, but the Venn diagram of time and money was not to be. Still don't the pdf's, there just has been so much out of the indie, osr, nsr, other letter combos, and outright new games, well there is a lot on my plate. Including run on sentences. 000
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 13/07/2025The other things were the timings of the releases, GDW was folding in the lull of the 90's for older companies, and 3E came out pretty much alongside Lejendary Adventure. 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 13/07/2025Well, when TSR tied to sue him for even trying to work on any ttrpg after his departure, so many of the major players in the profession kind of avoided him like the plague. He was persona no grata until WotC bought out TSR. It must have been like working under a gun. 310
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 02/07/2025You randomly came up on my youtube feed the other week. Keep hitting the shorts, but you have good longer form content. That raw milk video is crappy, in the right way. 030
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 29/06/2025Not how I would have my cheesesteak, but you do you. The Pickled Wasteland? 010

John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 31/05/2025I wish they would remake the Fez series, Role Aids had some amazing stuff. Maybe Goodman, maybe. Oh, I got your book the other day, and holy crap, it's like another copy of the DCC rulebook. Meaty, heavy, and good lord you could hurt someone with this. MIT Press books are solid, but damn. 110
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 22/04/2025Great podcast, I seriously was not expecting Phil Hine! Been reading his stuff for 30 years or so, and Rodney Orpheus has his shit together as well! 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 20/04/2025The Lost Punk is Dead class. I can smell the cigarettes and whiskey. 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 20/04/2025I may have a publisher you may be interested in, Critical Kit. I funded their Punk is Dead Mörk Borg variant game, and wound up meeting them at Pax Unplugged, real decent people, real good games. Check them out: @critkituk.bsky.social 120
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 10/04/2025I think I still have my set of these, this exact set, put away long ago. 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 07/04/2025Thought you would be more of a Blood Angles guy, but on second thought, Painted Wastelands and all, the Third makes sense. Where are the noise marines? 100
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 20/03/2025The algorithm graces me with one of your videos, this one to be exact. Thanks for your insights, keep up the good work. 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 30/12/2024Take the advertising! Yes it sucks monkey nuts. Also add your bluesky info to everything. Check out the reviewers, Questing Beast mentioned the Painted Wastelands in his latest blog. See if you can get on the Deiku podcast/youtube channel, also Unwinnable, they promote a lot of small creators. 010
John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Imagine if they MST3k'd the Twilight Zone Movie. 010

John Murdoch @spazmodeus.bsky.social · 17/11/2024I did not old twitter, nor new. But I have heard good things about BlueSky, and not just the ELO song. 000
