Good morning and happy Tuesday y’all ✨ I’m fighting with the heat wave right now and it feels like a giant air fryer. Don’t forget to hydrate yourself with cold water. Have a nice day! 😬🙌🏻

I bounced off the original and this sounds like more of the same. Maybe I'll give the first one a go again.

Finally made it to Double Chicken Please and they're doing cocktails based on animated classics. This Uncle Iroh inspired clarified milk punch tastes like tea and is served in this cute glass. #cocktails #brewsky #doublechickenplease #newyorkcity

Bug identification, picture taking, drawing, doing some prints of local flora. There's definitely an engaging program in this especially if they get an actor to do a little Pokemon Professor to bookend the start and finish.

And yet as we saw with tariffs the bubble of escapism is only as stable as regime allows it. And video games is on the menu of things project 2025 wants to steamroll under the vagueries of moral policing. We can enjoy the illusion - for now.

Honestly Unova could use a second pass. It was a lower point in Pokemon history where the franchise kinda stalled out. Doing a revival of it would go a long way for shoring up this period in Pokemon history. Johto certainly doesn't need it.

With a great overworld theme no less.

Yeah they just exist as challenges and a throwback to older JRPG where a random enemy would be hanging out somewhere on the map ready to whip the (unsuspecting gamers) ass.

The DS version is notably harder than the original US FFII release. It's the hardest version of the game methinks.

The original is still one of the greatest modern animated films in the crown.

I learned about roll-n-roaster a few years ago and it felt like a museum once you cross the threshold. Also the food was pretty damn good for what it is.

AI merely reflects what it thinks you want to hear and plagiarizes to get there! Now here's a study that says you should eat a small rock per day. 🪨

It's what I played Persona 4 Golden on back when that was the only console to play it on. Same with games like Ys and Vanillaware games.

I feel like one singular JRPG? It's gotta be Final Fantasy 6 or 7.

Persona 1 and 2 are so different from everything past 3 as to be entirely different games. More like Shin Megami Sensei than modern Persona.

An ancient Gateway my parents paid way too much for and I was way too excited for because I could go online and play with the fonts and stare at screensavers. I have the spec sheet somewhere still. Been meaning to frame it.

And yet the most rebellious thing is still to cherish the things in life you enjoy. Small or as large as they may be. Because those who want to make life hell don't have those things.
