Does anyone else have like zero overlap between what you create when you want it to be narratively appealing and what you create when you want it to be sexually appealing or is that just me

Offering your vampire boyfriend an extra treat with his midnight snack ♥️🩸 #donotarchive #vampau #jmart #nsfwart

A vampire!Jon x Martin comic page. Contains mild blood and consensual somnophilia

Image 1: a sticky note with a written message from Martin to Jon

Hey, love,

I might be asleep when you read this, but if you're hungry, you can still have a bite. Ill probably sleep through it, so long as you're gentle.

So if feeding gets you (scratched out the word "Horny") worked up again, then I wouldn't mind helping you with that too...

Jon: (narration) This man has zero self preservation. He hardly even stirred as I drank from him tonight. Either he's dead tired, or he simply trusts me not take too much.

Image 2: Jon lifts up Martin's shirt while he sleeps, revealing his chest, his heartbeat rising in tempo. A trickle of blood drips down Martin's neck, as Jon has just fed from him.

Image 3: closeup of Jon's mouth, smeared in blood, staring in awe

Jon: You look so lovely, dear...I-is this really all for...

Image 4: closeup of Martin's lower half. Jon pulls Martin's shorts to the side, the material soaking wet, his t-dick swollen and red. Jon nudges against Martin's entrance with the head of his own aching cock.

Jon: (narration) Christ, he's already so wet and...And warm. His cock is sensitive too; twitching every time I grind against him.

Is his arousal a side effect from my feeding as well? Or was he touching himself before I returned home – tempting me with the mess he's made of himself and hoping that I would just...

Image 5: Martin is laid halfway on his side, face in his pillow, moaning softly in his sleep. Jon looks absolutely pathetic: resting his head on Martin's stomach (with another bite taken on the skin nearby, either to feed a bit more, or simply to have more of Martin in his mouth again), clinging to Martin as he fucks into him with a sense of desparation.

Martin: (mumbling) J...N ...On...

Jon: Shh, it's-it's alright, dear, it's – You fed me so well, dear. Let me fill you up, too...

🪦 end of fear 🪦 #themagnusarchives #tma #georgiebarker

A digital drawing of Georgie Barker from The Magnus Archives. She’s sitting down on the ground in a clearing, surrounded by dead aspen trees. She’s surrounded by swirling fog. There’s a ribcage half-buried in the foreground as well as two swords sticking out from the grass, and there are headstones in the background. In the sky there’s a spiral-shaped cloud. Georgie looks at peace, bathed in warm light, with the Admiral asleep by her side.

when did i start to lose the parts of me that weren’t just anger? #melanieking #themagnusarchives #tma

Digital illustration of Melanie King from The Magnus Archives. She is pale with teal hair and is kneeling on the ground, gripping one of her legs. A bullet pointing down towards an anatomical heart shows through her knee, radiating red streaks. The drawing of her is framed with symmetrical tansy flowers blooming out from Winchester Model 94 rifles. There’s a pair of eyes the top of the framing, pupils obscured by a bloody scalpel.

The first and most dangerous step in the production of vampire antivenom is, of course, milking the venom from which it's synthesized. Luckily, some volunteers seem to even enjoy the process 🧪

a vampire girl in a lab, having her venom milked. a leather harness holds her mouth open with a metal bit, preventing her from biting, while a lab tech holds a vial to her fangs to catch the dripping venom; another gloved worker assists from behind.

A Venn diagram. The outer circles read dog, car, and husband. The intersection of dog and car is horse. The intersection of dog and husband is werewolf. The intersection of car and husband is centaur. The intersection of all three is dragon.

very rough sketch showing Martin kneeling in front of a monster form of Annabelle just out of frame. He's naked and his hands are tied behind his back with cobwebs. She's gently stroking his face and the view is obscured by her claws, as if seen from a badly held camera.

Jonathan Sims ☾𖤓 XII The Hanged Man Part 2 of my series in the Magnus Archives tarot deck! Jon means the world to me and his card in this deck will never fail to break my heart. #themagnusarchives #magnuspod #jonathansims

A digital art of Jonathan Sims from The Magnus Archives as the tarot card, The Hanged Man. He’s hanging upside down and tied up with golden web. He’s skinny and dressed in a vest and green shirt, looking at the viewer with a tense expression and staring eyes. An eye glows from his forehead, while around him various Fear entities (depicted in golden flat shapes) swarm towards him: a scythe, a blown-out candle, bones, dagger, claw marks, smoke, crumpled water bottle, shovel, swirly line, a swarm of bugs, calliope keys, lightning, and fire.

"It does tickle me, that in this world of would-be occult dynasties and ageless monsters, the Chosen One is simply that – someone I chose. It’s not in your blood, or your soul, or your destiny. It’s just in your own, rotten luck." #themagnusarchives

mixed media drawing showing Jon, in a light green suit and tie, laying on his back in an A-pose on a desk, pinned down by 14 metal spikes of various shape. Elias is sitting at the side of the desk, wearing a darker green suit and a cravat in the shape of an eye, his head out of frame, holding Jon's jaw and forcing his eye open. There's a giant, faint spider web in the background

A great analysis of how important Jon's #asexuality is for our community!

thinking about jonathan sims being asexual. thinking about how most ace/ace-coded characters in media are represented as cold, distant, unfeeling, too busy, smart, or ambitious for sex, “barely human”, sometimes literal robots or aliens. thinking about jon, who first comes off as cold and rude but who we gradually discover to be compassionate, anxious, kind of a dork, funny, lonely, stubborn, brave. who struggles so much with his own humanity. thinking about the aces who feel different, disconnected, broken, who lack or have a complicated relationship with “the thing that makes us human.” thinking about jon, who even in his worst moments, cares so much and loves so deeply. who, on the surface, embodies the asexual stereotype of a character who’s too cold and inhuman for sex, and yet who subverts that stereotype over and over again by being a complex character struggling with his disconnection from other people in a way that beautifully ties into the unfortunately common asexual experience of feeling broken and yet who remains so very human, despite everything. thinking about how jonny probably didn’t consider all this when he wrote jon as asexual but fuck it it’s 3am and i’m emotional over the jarchivist. uh, in this essay i will-
