I know most of you guys don't go on the other app but the pope posted an anti AI/ pro artists statement yesterday, and the ensuing cope and memes is really funny

Pope Leo XIV
@Pontifex

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

2016: I will never fight a holy war

2019: Pope Leo I am ready launch me towards the nearest data center

some AI guy saying he makes christian children's books with AI asking the pope if that is ok then and someone posting a meme react with the pope holding a baseball bat saying 'did I stutter'

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits

To me I think one of the most soul crushing things about genAI is seeing all these incredible and unique artists that I look up to and how much I would LOVE to see their work in some big project Only to witness in real life just how little most people care about genuine human passion

Hello! I haven't done this in a good bit, but pretty much all of my commission options are open right now ! The Google Form to apply for a commission slot is linked in the comment below, thank you <3! If there are any questions, feel free to ask!

Pazdeflore commissions!
Hello everyone! Due to things irl (nothing too dire, but it would help me a lot if I can show any additional income!), I have decided to reopen
pretty much all of my commission options after a year!

Payment:
- Payment is through Paypal invoice or Ko-Fi!

General:
- Turnaround time can range from a couple days to 3 months
depending on the complexity of the commission!
- Changes during sketch phase are free!
- My artstyle tends to fluctuate, so if there is a specific style
or drawing of mine you like, feel free to let me know!
- I have the right to decline a commission.

To inquire, fill out the Google Form below!

Will draw:
- Selfship/yumeship/OC x canon
- Fanart
- Human, anthro, feral
- Ask about other types
of creatures!

Won't draw:
- NSFW
- Complicated mecha
(like Transformers)
- Anything hateful and/or illegal
- Heavy gore
(bruises and a little blood is ok!

Character centric art:
- Bust: 25€ (flat)/40€ (shaded)

- Halfbody: 35€ (flat)/50€ (shaded)

- Fullbody: 40€ (flat)/60€ (shaded)

Extra characters are +75% each!

Scenes:
- Base price 100€ (includes one character and shading)
- Additional characters are +75% each!
I tend to do better with scenes depicting nature and warmer colors!

Chibis:
- 25€ (flat color)
Extra characters are +15€ each

PWYW experimental comms:
- Price starts at 10€ (pay what you want)
- Complexity/effort depends on price paid
