Can't help because I moved to Belgium, but it's not an impossible plan. Bundles are very cheap on the 2nd hand market. Those 4 stories are very good and part of the "splatter era" which peaked with issue 51 (Il Male). Canale 666 is a rip off of Videodrome as far as I remember. Golconda is just WOW.

Long goodbye (Il Lungo Addio) is indeed one of the best story ever. Penciled and written by a master like Carlo Ambrosini. Chess of Death (Partita con la Morte) penciled by Corrado Roi is also incredibly good. The other 2 I barely know but I am not a big fan of Roberto Recchioni.

That will be impossible to find afaik. Last thing that circulated was Artist of Fasting. Most rips around of his movies are from italian tv with double subtitles. Easiest thing you can find is Gushing Prayer and Red Army. Easiest entry point is the documentary/interview by Philippe Grandieux.

We have this ancient idiom in Italy "piove, governo ladro", i.e. "it's raining, thieving government". It was supposed to be a a sort of joke on the tendency of simpletons to attribute everything, even unfortunate weather, to the government. We have now proof that reality can win over that joke.

When I was younger, had a friend who made me reflect on how the first shots in a movie serve to establish what is gonna come. It was very precious. First 2 times I've watched Devilman Crybaby I did it in the middle of the night without pauses between episodes. I'll try slower this time. If I can.
