Office life can be rough… but somehow ToyZero+ found a way to make the daily grind ridiculously cute with the LuLu the Piggy Office Struggles Series Blind Box. I just dropped a new YouTube review taking a closer look at this new series, and if you have ever survived a workday on coffee, hidden from responsibility, stared blankly at a screen, or felt personally victimized by your inbox… LuLu gets it.

Seventeen years at New York Comic Con is no small feat... and Benny Kline and Tenacious Toys are once again bringing a massive crew of artists, brands, exclusives and collectibles together for NYCC 2026 with the return of the Tenacious Collective at Booth 1771.

Well... that didn’t take long. Following its debut at Mass Mini Con, 100% Soft brought a small batch of the Lil Flat File Fire resin figure online, and collectors wasted no time cleaning them out. The new piece takes the familiar little smiling chaos of 100% Soft and stuffs it inside a stack of happy little flat file drawers... complete with a massive translucent orange fire erupting from the top. Each drawer has its own tiny face, there are little scraps of paper sticking out from between the drawers, and somehow the whole thing still manages to look ridiculously cheerful despite being completely engulfed in flames.

There’s something instantly familiar about Ghost Warrior, the latest mini figure from Unseen Display, but this little skeletal fighter has been given a serious samurai makeover. Standing just 3" tall, Ghost Warrior is a cast metal collectible inspired by the classic 1995 LEGO skeleton body design, reworked with a killer skeleton samurai helmet sitting up top. The exposed rib cage, skeletal limbs and claw-like hands keep that old-school toy influence intact, while the oversized kabuto-style helmet completely changes the personality of the piece.

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen a fresh batch of customs from MAp-MAp, but he definitely hasn’t been sitting around twiddling his thumbs. On September 25th, the UK artist returns with 6 Senses Freed, a collection of six individually customized 3" Dunnys loaded with the obsessive sculpting, texture and hand-painted detail that have made his work so instantly recognizable.

Something strange is cooking over at Toys on Tap, and this one looks like it wandered out of a paranormal containment unit after a seriously bad day. Meet NO PUFT, the latest soft vinyl creation from Toys on Tap x More Horrific, taking a familiar marshmallow sailor concept and stripping things down all the way to the bones.

Broke Piggy is back at it for DCON Vegas 2026, and this year they are not just throwing an after party... they are launching The Broke Piggy Games! Last year’s Broke Piggy party sold out inside a 3,000 sq. ft. venue, and this year they are leveling things up with a massive 12,500 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor venue just about 1 mile from the convention.

DIY Vinyl Gets the Spotlight at HOMEGROWN SOFUBI 2! The home-pulled heat is headed back to Hollywood as Toy Art Gallery gets ready to open HOMEGROWN SOFUBI 2 this Saturday, September 12th from 12PM to 4PM! Celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and all-out DIY spirit of home-based soft vinyl toy producers, HOMEGROWN SOFUBI 2 brings together a stacked lineup of independent makers from across the country. This is the kind of show that shines a light on the artists doing the dirty work themselves: pulling vinyl, testing colors, making molds, experimenting with prototypes, and creating those oddball one-offs that make the indie toy scene so rad.

Coally Breaks Hearts on Kickstarter with a Premium Vinyl Art Figure Release! There is something slick, somber, and seriously polished about Coally, the new premium vinyl art figure currently funding on Kickstarter from COAL. Dressed in glossy black vinyl with white gloves, a skull-like face, long rabbit ears, and that small cracked red heart on the chest, Coally has a clean designer toy presence with a darker emotional pull.

A Poison Apple with Brains: Emilio Garcia’s “Once Upon a Brain II”... Careful what you bite into, collectors! Emilio Garcia is back with Once Upon a Brain II, a brand new edition in his ongoing Forbidden Brain series, and this one takes a beautifully twisted cue from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from 1937. This piece hits that sweet spot between fairytale nostalgia and brain-melting designer art, blending the instantly recognizable silhouette of a glossy red apple with Garcia’s signature cerebral sculptural language. The result is part poison apple, part anatomical oddity, and all kinds of tempting.

Fast food, toy shelves, and full-on chaos collide once again as Evil A Toys has released the newest piece in their Fast Food Kills series... meet Murder Mac! This chunky burger brute looks like it crawled out from behind the counter after closing time, grabbed some oversized weaponry, laced up the kicks, and decided the collector shelf needed a little more danger.

Toy Art Gallery and TAGTOYS are back with another beastly sofubi drop, teaming up once again with illustrator and designer Martin Ontiveros for a brand new edition of the mighty GHOULASH! Fools Paradise Sends Lepus Boy Into Pastel Space! Fools Paradise is back with another wildly polished release, and this one is floating in on soft lavender clouds, oversized bunny ears, and just the right amount of “don’t bother me, I’m on another planet” energy. Introducing Lepus Boy, a new open edition release now up on FOOLFOOLSHOP.

Here we go... a brand new mascot is stepping into the designer toy world, and this little builder has some serious personality! Montreal-based artist Zine is introducing GUERS, a stylized cartoon beaver collectible that kicks off with the first series titled The Colony. Rather than creating a brand new character for every release, Zine wanted to build around one core mascot that could be reimagined through different colorways over time. Think of that familiar collector rhythm where one strong character becomes the canvas, and each edition adds a new layer to the story. For GUERS, that character is a rounded, wide-eyed beaver with buck teeth, white glove-like hands, a soft body shape, and a whole lot of shelf presence.

There is something about a designer toy with attitude that instantly grabs you… and Young Mayne from 2BFND has that locked-in, playground legend energy from the jump. I just posted a new YouTube review taking a closer look at this 12-inch resin art toy, and this figure brings a whole lot of personality, style, and streetball nostalgia to the shelf.

AKCNSTUDIOS Takes The Shot With THE NINE... A Limited Resin Striker Sculpture AKCNSTUDIOS is stepping onto the pitch with THE NINE, a limited designer sculpture that captures pure athletic power, attitude, and movement in one massive forward-driving pose! This is not your typical art toy release either... AKCNSTUDIOS calls THE NINE a collectible sculpture, and honestly, that feels right. It has that frozen-in-motion energy, like a striker caught right before the explosive first step, grinning because he already knows how the play ends.

Here we go... a brand new independent art toy project has started crawling out of the digital sculpting lab, and it is already packed with strange creature energy, Japanese street culture influence, graffiti attitude, and a whole lot of weird toy personality! Introducing Bakemono Works, the personal art toy studio from Brazilian artist, game designer, and 3D creator Antônio Marcelo, also known in the gaming and 3D communities as Tony Garcia.

Meet Hamura & Hamuo, A Sofubi-Born World From Tokyo Sculptor Kenji Yoshida. There is something extra rad about a character project that does not start as a sketch, comic, animation, or manga... but as a physical toy first! That is exactly what is happening with Hamura & Hamuo, an original sofubi character project from Kenji Yoshida, a professional sofubi sculptor and character designer based in Tokyo, Japan.

Your Sofubi Shelf Just Went Digital! For all the sofubi collectors out there who have ever tried to remember when they picked up a figure, where it came from, what they paid, or which shelf it used to live on... Sofubi Journal might be worth checking out. Created by Tsubasa, an independent iOS developer based in Japan, this new iPhone app was designed specifically for organizing, documenting, and visually enjoying sofubi collections.

Labubu went from a strange little art toy character to one of the biggest collectible crazes in the world. POP MART stores had massive lines, releases sold out instantly, resale prices exploded, celebrities were clipping Labubu to designer bags, and THE MONSTERS became a billion-dollar phenomenon. But now... things feel different.

The Slobots Never Left... They Just Got Smaller. It’s been a while since we have checked in with Mike Slobot, but one thing is for sure... the Slobots never stopped rolling! Mike has been steadily building away in his studio, continuing to evolve his charming little robot universe with a fresh shift in direction. This year, he has moved away from the larger Slobots and started focusing on smaller, more detailed pieces, with pretty much everything now coming in under 5" tall.

A radical new edition of Martin Ontiveros’ BAPHOMANIAC has arrived, and this one looks like it crawled straight out of a neon-soaked mall arcade, grabbed a slice of pizza, hit the skate shop, and never looked back! Toy Art Gallery is dropping the brand new BAPHOMANIAC Mallrat Edition, giving the blasphemous Bapho a totally tubular flashback paint scheme packed with hot pink, electric blue, silver horns, toxic green eyes, and enough retro surf/skate attitude to melt your Trapper Keeper.

Heads up, SoCal collectors... Indietoy Con is back next month, and this twice-a-year mini toy convention is shaping up to be another rad weekend packed with indie toys, artists, raffles, exclusives, and all kinds of designer toy goodness!

Kevin Derken, better known as KLAV, is back with a brand new soft vinyl release, and this one looks like it rolled straight out of a rusted junkyard transmission from another galaxy. Meet the Power Clone, a bootleg Star Wars power droid reimagined through the beautifully grimy lens of old school kaiju bootlegs.

Toy Art Gallery and Barely Human are joining forces for a freaky little sofubi takeover, and this one is bringing some serious shelf gremlin energy (if that's not a thing, it is now). The new TAG x Barely Human Capsule Collection features a lineup of fan favorite Barely Human sculpts, including: Junk Food Kougai, Chooch, and Peanut, each expertly painted by UhOhToys. If you are already familiar with Barely Human’s world, you know the vibe… strange, charming, rough around the edges in all the right ways, and packed with personality that feels like it crawled out of a Saturday morning fever dream.

Talk about a first release that comes out swinging… independent artist and toy designer Taylor Bray, the creator behind Sad Joke, is getting ready to launch his debut art toy, and this little burnout is already looking like a conversation starter. Meet Cighead, a 6" PVC collectible based on Bray’s original character that takes a cute chibi-style figure and cranks the horror-inspired weirdness way up with 61 cigarettes sticking out of his head.

It has been a minute since we last saw a new release from Otto Björnik, but good news… the missing cactus has officially been found! After the debut of No Hoots Given, the Burnout Parliament has quietly been growing in the background, and now the next chapter is ready to clock in. Say hello to Oscar “OCA”, the Office Cactus Assistant, a tired-but-hopeful little office survivor who is currently Pending Approval.

Toy Art Gallery is bringing some serious dark-sofubi energy to collectors with an extremely limited lottery release of NPK23 DH KIWAMI, a wildly detailed new edition from NPK, founded in 2021 by artist @kuang_canban. Standing approximately 9.5" tall, this beast is cast in clear soft vinyl and loaded with fantastic paintwork that gives the entire figure a cosmic, glassy, high-gloss finish. The sculpt is packed with texture, from the skull-like facial features and alien anatomy to the layered body details, long arms, creature-like hands, and wild detachable accessory. This edition features 9 parts, including that extra accessory, making it another beautifully strange entry in the NPK universe.

A new independent designer toy studio is stepping into the scene, and their first release is already carrying some serious world-building energy. Galago Studios, a new creator-owned collectible studio based between Portugal and South Africa, is introducing its inaugural designer toy project... Bilao: Guardian of Aarok.

There are some releases that just hit different… and the Milo from DESCENDENTS 7" Vinyl Figure from Encore Toy Co. is absolutely one of them. As a longtime fan of the pivotal punk band DESCENDENTS, getting to crack into this figure on YouTube was already going to be rad, but the version they sent over took things to a whole other level. This was the signed header card edition… and yeah, I was seriously flabbergasted.

There is something really charming about a figure that does not have to shout to get your attention... and that is exactly where blumo lives. Created as a small 4" matte cream resin art figure, blumo keeps things beautifully simple with a wide rounded head, tiny black dot eyes, no mouth, and a soft presence that feels calm, curious, and a little melancholic all at once.

Factor Bikes just dropped something completely unexpected, and not on my bingo card for 2026, into the world of elite cycling - and yeah... this is the kind of weird crossover energy we love to see! Revealed for the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Factor teamed up with Mighty Jaxx and they have unveiled two exclusive Factor ONE special editions inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, bringing Bikini Bottom straight into the pro peloton.

Nothing says summer quite like shaved ice, melting syrup, and a smiling little ghost ready to cool down your sofubi shelf! Tsukumo Toys is making its industry debut with a special limited release of Sket-One’s Boo Crew, and this one is looking extra refreshing in its new “Natsugori” Summer Ice colorway. Inspired by the Japanese summer treat kakigori, also known as shaved ice, this Boo Crew release features a smoke-clear body with soft milky white blending throughout, giving the whole figure that frosty, icy feel. Up top, pale pink adds a strawberry syrup vibe, while the translucent blue hands and feet bring in that cool summer melt effect. Depending on the angle and lighting, the clear vinyl shifts and glows in a really fun way, making this colorway feel light, breezy, and perfect for the season.

The wonderful, weird, raw energy of Daniel Johnston’s unmistakable illustrations has officially stepped into the world of sofubi-style soft vinyl with the debut of Daniel Johnston’s Weirdees from Clutter! This brand-new collection transforms a handful of Johnston’s beloved oddball characters into premium hand-produced art sculptures, and this first Teal and Yellow Marble colorway is available now and ready to ship.

There are designer toys that try to be cute… and then there is Cat Loaf, the new figure from Jeff aka Bleeding Edges of BXE Buttons x StaciaMade, which pretty much wins the whole loafing-on-the-counter competition right out of the bag. I just posted a new YouTube video review taking a closer look at this little slice of feline perfection, and yeah… this thing is adorable. Cat Loaf was originally supposed to be a CollectedCon exclusive, but in true convention chaos fashion, the shipment missed the event by just one day. So close. So painful. But now the good news is that these little loaf cats have finally arrived and are available for collectors to snag.

Here is a dangerous little crossover that feels like it was built for collectors who like their cute characters with a little chaos baked in. Leecifer brought some serious glow-powered goodness to CollectedCon with this exclusive resin edition of Spark, and even at just about 2.5" tall, this little dude makes a huge impression. This version of Spark is beautifully crafted in translucent deep blue resin and loaded with all kinds of colorful glow debris, glittery bits, and UV reactive goodness suspended throughout the body. It has that wild cosmic-confetti look where every angle catches the light a little differently… like some tiny radioactive space creature got dipped in party dust and sent straight to the convention floor.
