Key rebinding is completely broken. but that's fine. I was plannign to rewrite it, so I'll jsut disable it until I get back to it in 3 months.

I figured that moving the project to godot 4 was still a better choice than starting a new project from scratch. But the ammount of things I'm rewriting and the fact tilemaps aren't compatible at all, I might as well be. There are advantages but I miss my level layouts...

Hello everyone. I was unable to find the source of the crashes in the windows versions of Dream Enkoure. I'm not giving up. Merely writing this because I needed to leave it said. But please stop using windows. I will try upgrading to Godot 4 but still, please stop using windows.

I've done everything in my power and sanity to fix these crashes. The cards have bene laid down. The early tests pass. Now, if I can just get 3 positive confirmations of no crash...

Look I don't care, as a consumer, that storage prices have gone up. Game prices have also gone up independently from it and every GKC purchase comes with the need to purchase a micro sd express, which means I'm not purchasing either, or even digital.

Planning three midbosses for act 3 was, definitelly, an excess. Not an unnecessary one, but I severely missunderstood what it means making four bosses instead of two, even if three of them are dumb dumbs. This is either reckless abandon, or an steel will.

I recently wound my tongue (with a pretty deep bite yikes). I'm now on medication and every day feels like a battle I can't win. I'm trying to get work on Dream Enkoure progressed, and steal a few minutes to practice drawing, but I every time I try, two hours pass. I think I need a break.

My self professed break is over and I'm now working on boss behavior. This will not make it to the upcoming sage2026 demo. What's coming up in the next few months workload wise is pretty ambitious and I can't wait to underdeliver.

I just feel like IP should be something that is owned by the workers, not the company, and then treated as liased, not given, to the company performing the hire. It just shouldn't be the case ever that a product makes it to market by firing everyone who worked on it.
