One of the most annoying parts of being a gamedev is when a new release shares a *lot* of similarities with your project. I think this is why my I'm so clingy towards my characters. There will always be some aspect of them that's unique.

AI music is becoming harder for me to detect, which pisses me off so much. On 3 seperate occasions, I realized mid-song that I was listening to a Suno thing Thankfully, Suno isn't perfect (still produces weird riffs) + a lot of channels are silly enough to leave obvious signs (AI channel art)

Personally, I don't like the abundance of games with "hyper realistic" art direction. I hate that the industry celebrates that so much and gives a side eye to experimental visuals. It reminds me of how 2D animation is seen as "childish" in the broader entertainment sphere.
