Gordon's updated ref sheet! This is why he wasn't available on Art Fight this year - he's been due for a serious update for many years, and I'm much happier with his presence in the game world now. [ #anomalycore #gamedev ]

also a fun fact: he is constantly floating with very oversized dragonfly wings; the two spikes under said wings are his legs, but he rarely ever actually stands on the ground.

Originally, he just didn't strike me as feeling like Rhom's creation or a proper overarching antagonist, with his old skeletal design. Was definitely a cool look that I will reuse for another character, but it wasn't THE Gordon. Now he's more visually interesting and clearly connected to Rhombus.

some updates to Enzo's 3D model! expressions, details, and clothing have been optimized since the last iteration - all that's really left is his healing staff and a couple outfit/expression changes! will upload another gamedev video once he's been added to the world. [ #anomalycore #3d #gamedev ]

originally his hands were modeled as complex geometry, but have since been changed to more accurately match my own art style: single-plane claws. significantly less geometry, with the same level of expression in animations

i might draw some of the cutscenes with enzo and wattson as well, of their initial meeting 🤔 or maybe with haros, since that's essentially the intro to the game... there's a lot of fun ones to choose from!
