There's a ballot measure in CO to amend the state constitution with a right to natural gas, partially as a response to Boulder placing strict limits on home usage. Doesn't seem like it should be enshrined in the constitution, regardless of whether folks agree with the Boulder policy

What strikes me the most about this is it's a complete gutting of the middle class. If surveillance pricing becomes widespread, there may not be a change in consumer purchasing power across wide income levels - the 'dream' of improved quality of life is erased for higher profits

We had a first session of a new campaign yesterday. Druid entangled an enemy, catching the wizard in the area so she was also stuck. Wizard got knocked out in 1 hit since she was the only one in reach of the enemy who rolled high. Everyone scrambled to save her. Classic Wizard

The local power company pre-emptively cut power to some areas near the foothills across Colorado due to high winds and fire danger. Includes the areas for a couple major labs. Still about 90k people without power, might be back online Monday.

Low circles like that are sometimes pilots setting up the right timing for a stadium flyover. If there was a major sports game around that time near you may be related. I saw that happen near me once and I'm about a 15 minute drive from the nearest stadium

That's what I thought, it just seems a bit misleading to claim a 20X increase in that case. It's a catchier headline that doesn't effectively inform what is really happening (a doubling or tripling the budget is already a huge deal). Thanks for clarifying for me!

I'm confused - is this saying the current budget is $9B per year and the increase would add $175B over a decade ($17.5B per year, a 2X increase) or that the $175B is per year (a 20X increase)?

I worked with him for a while back in 2015 and it was pretty obvious who he supported. Even after the extreme side-eye from Trump's weird remarks on space at the White House, I didn't expect this to change. Buzz is very opinionated and hard to convince to change his mind.
