I guess this makes me feel better about having to shell out $116 for the Passholder rate at Epic Universe on my son's birthday. But, being someone who used to sell tickets at the Magic Kingdom when they were $68 (and that was the only price, good any day at any Park.) it's still hard to stomach.

Tonight's D23 event was the first one I've attended at the Contemporary in 10 years. It reminded me why I love and hate these events. The event was amazing! So many cool stories. The other people attending were terrible! The guy sitting next to me was an absolute piece of shit.

Saw all the MNSSHP stuff at MK yesterday and so wanted to know if we are going (we went exactly two years ago yesterday) Just saw that the party the weekend of his birthday is the only one not sold out. Checked the price. Holy crap! $224 a person. We went on his 2nd birthday for $35 each.

My kid who did every single attraction at Epic Universe using the Attraction Assistance Pass said that getting pulled from the queue of Tiana's to go through the exit because I can't do stairs felt like cheating 😂

My kid's reaction to Sci Fi was "congrats, they figured out how to make restaurants worse." He clearly doesn't remember his beef with Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex. Add this one to the list of places that aren't autism friendly by design. Personally I enjoyed that the movies kept the other guests quiet.

Went on my first walk around the neighborhood since I hurt my knee. As I was hobbling back to my house an ambulance pulled up out front. Didn't appear to be the same guys who helped me. Hope my neighbor is OK!

I don't even like watching Disney tiktok creators on tiktok. I find most Disney influencers to be insufferable and make the Parks 10x worse. I hate to say it, but I miss bloggers. People who genuinely wanted to experience the Parks and report on it, not spit out "viral" content for views.

Yesterday we were hanging out at the Swan with my parents and my weather app said the "feels like" temp was 113°. Then a massive storm rolled through and it was 76°. Had a nice walk to/from the Dolphin for dinner at less than 80° and breezy.

I still have my ticket from my very first MVMCP. It cost $15 and we bought them at the resort the day of as a last minute decision on something to do that night. I haven't found the Party worth it in well over a decade. I think I last went in 2009.
