@herogames.bsky.social - I just wanted to give you a quick note, since I bought the 6th edition yesterday: I played 1st edition in the early 80s, when a friend got a copy. We played it for many years & I still use the nickname of my Champions character for various websites.

In the back of my mind, this all reminds me of the run up to the Holocaust, where Germany tried to ship Jewish people to other countries, which refused to accept that. I'm not 100% sure they haven't hired El Salvador to kill people Trump has deported, rather than imprison them.

Parents need to act on reports of bullying. My parents didn't, even when I came home after being beaten in a field by three older teens. The effects of that linger 40 years later and I still remember their names. There are always options, but all depend on action.

This morning I was considering AirBNB (for the first time) for an upcoming trip to Mexico. There's no way I will give AirBNB money if he's involved in this fuckery. AirBNB hosts should make sure they use other services instead. I don't know enough about these (like VRBO) to suggest they are better.

Here in Canada we did this in 2012. While it seems logical, it seems to have caused businesses to round up to the next $0.05 on posted prices, not down to $x.x0. I don't really mind that they are gone, but note that this is a gift in many ways to companies and out of the pockets of people.
