The new NASA FY2026 budget request is abysmally bad. Gutting Artemis, huge cut to ISS, huge cut to science, huge cut to the NASA workforce and many other things. It's embarrassing that NASA published this graphic with it, so I fixed it. This is how you lose your space program.

These firings are actually illegal. HR is being forced at gun point to lie and claim that employees had bad performance even when they didn't. Because bad performance and bad conduct are the only legal ways to fire a probationary employee.

Probationary employees legally cannot be fired unless it is for misconduct or poor performance. The news reported that fired government employees are being called poor performers even if they had all positive performance reviews. Managers were forced to lie. Very illegal.
