thanks for coming cargie! I tend to use hue shifting! It's like a pixel art color/shading technique it creates a super vibrant feel. Also, when adding colors I stylise it by going for an orange instead of a deeper yellow for example

Straight up, file formats tend to depend on the project outcome and what production requires but always yes. Learning how to do vector art or vectorize your raster art is a fundamental skill that makes your life sooo much easier Will touch more on it in the panel but it's a genuinely good question!
