Question: why are we not talking about privacy when comes to AI? Why is everyone giving access to your email, messages, calendar and GitHub to these companies that have only been around for a 3+ years? How are we ensure they not selling this data? Or mining for sensitive data?

I would love to see a custom LLM for WordPress, it could contain trac, the codex and maybe the plugin repo. I would love to be able to ask questions of the whole of trac, like why decisions were made, find duplicate tickets or find plugins with similar functionality.

I have been using AI tools to get them to try & refactor my code to make it better. Over this year, the tools seem to be getting worse. Now all they seem to do is tell me to break the code down into smaller chunks without any meaningful refactor or other code improvements.Just me

I wish more WordPress developers used the `wp_get_environment_type` function. You could write some custom logic to enable improve error logging or debugging on local / dev environments. Would be super handy, but not seen many devs do this.

My 100th commit to WordPress core! And it’s a good one. Add a new filter to the menu, menu item and menu location REST API endpoints to the make menu data public. This filter will be super useful for headless sites. 🎉🎉🎉

When an attachment is deleted in WordPress should it also remove it from all the posts that it is used in? At the moment, I believe once you delete the attachment and the file, the image tag will still render as broken.

WordPress developers question: when you have a plugin or theme that adds custom meta data like post / comment / user meta, do you use the register_meta function to make sure that meta is available in the rest api? If no, why not?
