Garnet was an excellent princess to her small village in the Ruby Sea. She made sure everyone had a place, all were welcome and embraced everyone with compassion- even those who were probably not very deserving of it. Garnet truly loves her people- but she felt that leaving her small kingdom and venturing outside would provide her with more knowledge and therefore make her a better ruler.
