Zoomed in sketchbook page
Pencil drawing looking straight out an arched doorway to a row of connected arched doorways to another row and a tiny last row in the distance
The sky is painted in pale blue with a tiny yellowish sun
The ground is painted in pale fluorescent orange
And the arches are not painted in, just pencil drawing without shading really

my recent painting it’s acrylic on canvas #art

a painting on a square canvas. the background is dark blue almost black. 2 nude female figures float in the middle of the canvas. the figures are identical with a reclining pose and an arm raised to shade the eyes, except the bottom figure is painted with the colors of a human where the top figure is instead painted with rainbow colors, red for highlights to purple for deepest shadows. above the figures on the dark blue background there is an 8-pointed white star with beams of light surrounding and extending, and 7 more similar but smaller starry sparkle shapes around the figures and tiny stars among them

recently on the drive back from a mini-roadtrip saw something new ive never seen before, and didnt know existed. this is an inverted rainbow! it didnt really photograph well, but it was so cool to see, just trust me bro. there is always something new to see if you look:)

view of the sky with trees below, a break in the trees tells us we’re probably looking at a view down a road but the road is cropped out. the sky first thing we notice in the sky is a double rainbow, in the foreground ahead of a misty bank of cloud mutely lit yellow with evening light. looking at the rainbow we can notice something unusual though. the secondary rainbow looks less bright than we would expect it to be for how bright the main rainbow band is. and even weirder, we can notice that although we can’t clearly see the colors as well as the main rainbow, the secondary rainbow has red on the inside instead of the outside- the secondary rainbow on the double rainbow is inverted!
