Bless @rahaeli.bsky.social for being so helpful with her threads on insurance. I need to convince UHC to cover NAME BRAND Synthroid. Now I feel like I might have a fighting chance. Here’s a screenshot of the main part of the thread for others who need help.

Here's what to do if your insurance claim is denied.

To everyone in a similar scenario: the tactic my doctor's office has taught me is to ask, in writing, for:

1) the name, board specialty, and license number of the doctor making the determination the treatment was not medically necessary

2) copies of all materials they relied on to make their determination;
3) proof the doctor making the determination has maintained registration in your specific state and documentation of their meeting all their continuing education requirements;

4) the aggregate rate at which similar treatments are denied vs approved by the specific doctor being used for peer review.
You are not entitled by law to *all* of these things in most states, but you're entitled to some of them, and you can always ask for them.

My Loki loves to lie in window until her fur is hot.It was 97 and unbearable in front of the window due to the sun even with the AC on. Iguana ass cat lay there for an hour. The AC vent is on the other side of the room.

I received my buy it now items from @romancingthevote.com! In addition to the items pictured I bought a pile of digital coloring pages for a fun and unique coloring book to enjoy as well. The dragon was a surprise and I love her. Named her Sparky and she lives on the Apple TV.

Wes Moore made this statement. It’s plausible. He was finance guy and people in general didn’t know Thiel was evil 13 years ago. Not saying I 100% buy it but it’s certainly plausible unless something comes out to contradict it.

Yes! My Loki is a rescue who only occasionally sits on laps. She mostly prefers to cuddle up next to and will wrap around my or my roommate’s hand or arm. So affectionate. What a beautiful boy!

I did read the article. It is making exactly that argument. It’s just couched in progressiveish professional terms. It’s the article version of Platner: Looks progressive on surface, but is actually not. Ex: No way to read this except as dismissive:
