Dressmaker is such a 'just one more' game omg Just one more dress, just one more customer, just one more design, 10/10 game of the year Don't know how long the game is but I don't want it to end ever

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Repost with your moon art. Gotta bring Eileen out again

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Watching the new Carrie series (10/10 so far 👌) and I'm so glad smart phones weren't a thing when I was at school, it was already hell for me but I can't imagine how much worse it would've been with today's social media and phones omg

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I caved and bought Dressmaker and it is 100% as addictive as I thought it would be 😅 that's not good when I have coursework to do

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Wish I could post about the current game I'm playing but everyone is so free and loose with spoilers or even hints that I can't risk it at all :( On another note, when I get my hands on Dressmaker I will 10000% post all my dress designs cause I need that game

My coach at the gym has, no joke, received an eviction notice from her partner and his sisters, they've been together for 10 years, like wtf is wrong with him I've been telling her for ages she deserves better, it's madness

Benched 32.5 kg tonight for reps, it's not super heavy I know but I'm happy to be back where I was before I had to stop training and then got quite ill for a long tine, feels good to get back to some normality with my health again 👌

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Vol up I'm serious when I say this, she demands pats like this almost every hour of every day You'd think an old lady cat would want a gentle peaceful life but not my Arya 😅

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Apparently the fucking plague is back If we're relying on isolating and wearing masks we're all actually fucked You can't make this shit up, the universe is an actual joke, what have we done to end up in this timeline?

010

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Got asked if ai is involved in my degree 🙄🙄🙄 Yeah I'm getting a huge student debt and doing a degree to copy paste a load of regurgitated shit into a word doc and not learn anything

010

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Absolutely baffled at how many people have liked my little beetle cross stitch 😵 But anyway here's another from the book! I love doing these tiny patterns that only take an hour or 2! It also gives you bigger patterns with small elements put together, I can't wait to try one of those

0895

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Finished another mini cross stitch (patterns are from Innocent Bones cross stitch book) Doesn't fit one of my mini frames so might have to make one!

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Finished unit 7 yesterday, on to book c and unit 8 today! My course officially starts tomorrow so I'm super hyped to be able to actually start doing my assignments 🥳

010

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Found this book recommended if you're studying physics and it looks amazing and I need it, but the price is eye wateringly expensive 😅 (a paperback for £50???) maybe going on my Xmas list

010

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Got some mini frames for my cross stitch project, here's a little ribcage, one of hopefully many little cross stitches that will make up a small wall display 🤞

Love that just after turning 40 life insurance companies are sending me this cause I'm now at death's door xD

110

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Still prototyping my latest project that will be available for commission (I hope 🤞), trying to get this stupid 'pigment bleeding into wood grain' problem under control but some progress has been made!

011

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

When I get my degree the first thing I'm gonna do is find out if the universe has some sick sense of humour cause to make two big spiders come directly into my bedroom and under the bed in the space of a week when I'm trying to fall asleep is just a cruel joke

000

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Anyway, here's my new favourite creature I found in No Man's Sky #nomanssky

120

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Anyway, the whole system is fucked and it shouldn't be that the only way (especially as a self employed single person) I could buy a home is to win loads of money, this is so wrong

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Pay people a living wage, also give self employed people the same rights as employed when getting a mortgage, I'm 40 and living back at home because of you fuckers after losing my home because 'you don't make enough to pay for a flat' but that's what I was doing for 15 years?! Make it make sense

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Lowering the deposit % you need to buy a house does not do anything if you cannot get a mortgage in the first place I've been paying consistent rent for 15 years and couldn't even get one with both my parents on the mortgage too, so how does anyone have any chance?! Lower fucking house prices and...

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Got 2 PBs at the comp today and our team came 2nd!

220

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Have to be up super early in the morning to get ready for the bench comp, but I never sleep til after midnight so not remotely tired yet 😩 Whoever invented early starts for things can do one, we should all start our days at 11am or even later

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Finished working through Unit 6 today (except my assignments which won't open til 5th Oct), so I'm basically 3 months ahead on my module 🤭 #adventuresstartingaphysicsdegree

120

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Hope what I saw is true, that vets have to bring in prescription fee caps, cause arya's lifelong medication every month costs a f-ing bomb 😭

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

My toxic trait is that I never block my crochet 🤭

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Playing the new 10th anniversary #nomanssky expedition and it's really cool getting the little bits of game commentary from the devs and each phase being a new game update 👌

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Little skelly is so cuuute, I have to find a cool frame for him

120

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Me, picking up an old hobby whilst in the middle of my mountain of crochet projects? Never (also highly recommend Innocent Bones cross stitch motif book 👌)

Lovely design change to Ps app logo and Disney plus logo on ps, turned their logos piss yellow, good job guys

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Damn, asked parents a month ago to email in to cracking the cryptic for a birthday shout out, they forgot to email in :( Half tempted to email my own late request in, how sad is that 🙃

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Spent my birthday today looking at some owls

030

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Just spoused March 💜 #fieldsofmistria Made me laugh though proposing to March and then getting 4 break up letters the next day from everyone else 😅 sorry guys but it's always been March

My module website has a link to the scale of things in the universe (to relate to writing in scientific notation) I spent a whole hour just scrolling in and out looking at everything from a planck length to the observable universe, dangerous stuff 😅

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

May have started yet another mosaic project with some left over yarn 👀 can't get enough of mosaic crochet

040

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Finished my skull vest top, probably the most challenging pattern I've crocheted to date but I like how it turned out! Made from the leftover yarn from one of my winter jumpers

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

That frustration when your go to streamers are playing through a game you want to buy and play (but can't afford yet or have time to play) so you have to miss out on half their streams for several weeks 😭

010

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Can't believe this month I'm turning 40 and starting an astrophysics degree, This is some wild nonesense I never could have predicted

030

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Finished! Pattern was from Crochet by Jessie, of a free ipod case pattern, adapted to fit my calculator instead

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

As if I didn't have enough projects on the go, I've started making a little mosaic crochet sleeve for my calculator (which I'll be using extensively over the next 8 years for my degree 😵‍💫) so thought it deserved some customisation

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Using some leftover yarn for this top but I can't unsee that I've unwittingly used the colours for Vix vapor rub 🙃🙃🙃 I guess I'll have a Vix coloured top cause I don't have enough of anything else oops

020

Rose @sourlaces.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Platinum no. 30! Tower Full of Cats, I've 100%ed this on pc so had to do it again when it came to consoles Nice easy plat I don't know what my next Plat goal is, 40 seems too ambitious with the rate it took me to get from 25 - 30 (over a year 😵‍💫)

Saw the Odyssey, it was a good film, loved the effects, also glad I was warned about the loudness cause I would not have been able to watch it without my Loops, it was seriously loud even with them in It didn't top #projecthailmary for me though, not by a mile, still worth a watch
