Solarpunk, Steampunk, and most other iterations of retrofuturism. I think the criticism is that they seem to ignore the reality of the hurdles that need to be overcome to achieve a hopeful future or rely on McGuffian tech to achieve it.
That said, more hopeful sci-fi/fantasy story settings please!
