it seems very interesting when you look at the symbolic context of the item that Kelly Clarkson wanted to purchase…

a mechanical bird.

it is evoking the Hans Christian Anderson tale of The Nightingale, aka a story about a caged bird that sings for the king that is replaced with a robotic bird.

it also seems interesting given the recent Pink comments about Ed Sheeran (she is due to replace Kelly on her show.)

perhaps the biggest piece of the puzzle is the king (the network) contractually requiring their birds (Kelly, Pink) to sing certain stances against their will through the cages of contracts?
