They’re taking 3 dying trees down in our yard today. It’s sad that it needs to happen but they’re dangerous to us and people on the walking trail. While watching them shred the trees I’m reminded of Tucker and Dale vs Evil. I do not want it to be a doozy of a day.

It’s been almost two months since I visited my mom. Between illness at the place she’s at plus the month of “fun” here, I just didn’t get there. The guilt is strong. Going there today and taking her favorite pizza in the whole world - Aurelio’s (of Chicago area). She’ll love it.
