Look at these atmospheric backgrounds that one of our team @samkeiserart.bsky.social has been working on for the Souly Damned animation! We love how they capture the gritty, moody realness of Ashwick’s streets. Check out more of Sam's art here: samkeiser.artstation.com

It’s been a little while since we last checked in, so we thought we’d share a glimpse of what’s been happening behind the scenes with Souly Damned. 🎨 Art by @riotbones.bsky.social #indieanimation

Image text reads:

First, some exciting news about the animated short: we wrapped storyboards and officially began rough animation at the beginning of September!

We’re also thrilled to welcome Satoki Takamatsu as the composer for Souly Damned, and know he's going to knock it out of the park.

Our voice actor lineup is coming together, too: we’ve solidified the cast for all of our major characters except one Keswick brother. And one of them, we’re stoked to say, is a name you might recognize.

There’s more on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

As always, thanks for being here!

A stylized promotional banner for a dark fantasy series titled “Souly Damned: The Scarlet Songbird.” The design features torn-paper collage elements on a dark red and black background. On the left, an illustrated young man with messy dark hair and glowing green eyes looks distressed, his hand raised near his face. On the right, a young woman with long brown hair and glowing eyes holds an open book, appearing calm and focused. At the center, the title is written in ornate, gothic-style lettering, with “presents” above it and “new adult indie series” below. Red string and pin motifs add a mysterious, investigative tone.
