That's good! You must get to see a lot of cool things s-since you travel so much. A-Any highlights?

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Mhm! ( Nodding, he turns to head up the stairs. ) H-How have you been in the meantime, Mega...?

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Oh, I know! I just get r-really caught up in things, haha...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

( He stays there for a few moments, just absorbing the happy feeling of the embrace, before gently pulling back to give Mega a bit of space. ) Heh... I think I-I'll come back upstairs for a while. I've been working r-really hard for a few days.

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

( He’s never had real /friends/ before, either… ) ( Soul just responds by softly hugging him. Words can’t describe his appreciation. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

It's just... I've never really /had/ help with things like this, and you're so busy all the time... ( He trails off, not wanting to make Mega change his mind. ) I'm really g-glad to be staying here...!

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Thank you. I-I've been used to repairing myself, but it's still been a fun challenge. And you'd r-really do that for me? I appreciate it...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Does it...? T-Thanks! ( He beams with a big smile, very proud and happy for himself. ) I'm hoping to d-do some more testing, and t-then I can try to make it look like my other one...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

( He's got the frame for the hand made up... time for a well-deserved break. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

( It takes him a second to notice, but once he does, his eyes widen with excitement. ) ( He leans down as much as he can until he’s right up against the glass. Waving!! )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

Hi, Mega! I-I climbed up the tree and hopped onto the roof. I wanted to see the glass dome up close. ( He says that so casually. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 05/03/2025

( ... He's sitting on the roof of Light Labs. How did he get up there. He's swinging his legs happily, incredibly happy with himself. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

( Yaaaaawn… it’s nice to wake up somewhere warm. ) ( … Back to working on his hand. )

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Thanks! I'd r-really like to meet him someday... but I know that h-he's really busy. I'm just honored to get to stay down here!

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

( He looks around with wonder. ) Woah... All of this i-is so /cool!/

Oh! I get it, haha. ( He is once again by Mega’s side, remembering where the lab is, and heading in that direction. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Don't w-worry, I can't sweat! ( Oh he's so joyous. ) Is it alright if I come over now...?

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

( Soul smiles wide, looking genuinely relieved and grateful. ) T-Thank you... I promise I-I'll make it up to you.

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Are you sure...? I'm still grateful y-you let me stay the other day...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

I guess so. B-But I'm worried about not being able to protect myself. ( He frowns. ) I've seen a lot of w-weird robots around lately...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

( He jumps a little, startled. ) H-Hi, Mega Man! Yeah, I wanna do that too, but... i-it'd be a lot more work.

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

... maybe I should do something about my arm, huh? ( He's talking to himself, examining his gauntlet with the missing hand. ) Maybe I could put a weapon in there, like Mega Man does...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

// i miss this guy. i have an arc planned out but it’s not gonna be for a while and urrrghhh

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

( Stretching... ow, his shoulder... ) ( Anyway, it's a nice night to do some parts scavenging. Off he goes. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

( He nods. ) Exactly! That, a-and I’d have to mess with my armor and my chassis, too… i-it isn’t easy to even do /repairs/ there, heh! ( He’s laughing it off as though it’s something lighthearted. )

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 19/02/2025

Oh... well, I'd love to have wings! B-But I don't have anyone who /can/ install them. ( Shrug. ) I've been the one d-doing my own upgrades! And I wouldn't know how to put stuff like /that/ on w-without hurting myself, you know...?

I’d sure like t-to be able to /fly/ someday… or get really s-strong and fast! ( He’s just happy to be learning about this stuff for now, though. ) Maybe one day, with enough p-practice, you’ll be able to!

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

( He stares very closely at the substance, watching the bubbles. He’s very tempted to tap the glass, but… no, he’s not /that/ stupid. ) Wow… all of this is so interesting! Y-You’ve probably got one for just about a-anything, huh?

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

That’s so /cool!/ ( There are practically stars in his eyes. ) How d-do you know which things to pick up? It probably t-takes a lot of practice, so they don’t e-explode on you, right?

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

Aw… Organics a-always seem to have all the fun. ( He seems only mildly disappointed, though. He leans on the counter, staring down at the colorful bottles. ) That’s okay, though. H-How did you make them, anyway…?

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 17/02/2025

( Oh! It's that little robot again, approaching with curiosity. ) H-Hello! It's nice to see you again! What's w-with these "potions", though...?

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 16/02/2025

( He's people-watching very intently... and /intensely.../ )

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

What’s “Valentine’s Day” all about, a-anyway…?

000

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

( He waves back, watching Mega go. ) ( Soul then sits there quietly for a while, but eventually, he curls up and falls asleep on the chair. Very comfortable... )

011

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

A-Alright. I'll talk to you later, then, Mega Man. T-Thank you. ( He's all smiles. At least he's got confidence that the other will, in fact, come back safely. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Oh! Okay. I like t-the chair, though, so I'll sit here for awhile. ( He smiles and nods. He gets it now. ) I-I hope you'll stay safe out there...

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Alright! I won't go a-anywhere, then. I'll stay here and wait. ( That's not exactly what Mega said... )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

If you s-say so...! When w-were you planning to leave? I can come back later, if you want.

Oh... ( He seems really nervous about the other's answer. ) W-Will you be alright? He won't take your /other/ eye, w-will he?

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Why do y-you need to go in there? ( After pondering the armchair for the past couple minutes, he finally, slowly sits down. )

010

Soul 🌼 [hiatus] @soulsearchers.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Y-You're lucky. It seems pretty hard to get out o-of the Fortress, a-at least /normally.../
