Mando sort of went in an odd direction in s2. There were some solid stories but then there were some that were like... This is something I would've read in a comic for the show, and with Book of Boba... The hijacking of it really didn't make sense to me.

In its own way, I could sort of see that. (I say having never seen it apart from the memes) A broken facsimile of one that acts as a shattered mirror of the real person, how on the surface level, it looks next to nothing like the original but internally has the same self flaws that push others away.

The thing I hate about Ai things now is that it really sort of craps on ideas I had for complex, interconnected systems for making NPCs feel believable and context driven, and having the ability to communicate with the NPCs with your own input and not a dialogue tree. Sorta like old text based games

I'm not even joking that is stellar looking. Was it mostly in render or was there a level of composite nodes added in? I've been messing with a sort of VHS look with a 1/2 sized black and white and a 1/16 sized chroma channel, filtered and stretched to fit to get that color fade/bleed look.

The implementation of ragdoll physics to sonic does make me think about things like cancel buttons to stick a landing and keep momentum, or the procedural nature of the endorphin/euphoria physics pipeline. Man, now I'm thinking about cool stuff like L4D2s culling tech for dashing thru robots.

Oh jeez... Arguably it's a few I really got into. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for the PS2, Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom, and EEn'E The Mis-Ed-ventures also for the PS2 were the ones I remember the most. I mostly remember playing them, then going to my Lego bins and making sets of the games.
