Baek and Seo are so fucking funny together holy shit I could not stop laughing while reading this! All their interactions are insane I love it! Anyway they did the nsfw stuff together this time and yippeeee but also 🫣 cuz halfway through the volume they stop having light sabers

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

Also I think the murder here would’ve been valid

“No murder at our establishment!”
Mizuki is about to kill Toru’s would be rapist but he gets stopped 😔

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 29/12/2024

Kabukicho Bad Trip was fun! Honestly this was more adorable than I thought it was gonna be judging by the cover bc fun fact that’s literally all I do. They do fuck a lot tho so the cover does not lie on that front. I hope we get volume 2 soon cuz idk what their timeline for it is

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

It’s called Manga Up Global but it’s not actually global? What kinda bs……

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Oh really? Weird. I remember Otaku Love Connection, On and Off, and Love in the Palm of His Hand all going on hiatus/slowing their chapters around the time of that announcement round so I always attributed it to that. Tbh that sucks even more now

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Need more chapters asap why must mangaup not update anymore 😭 (tbh I’m pretty sure it’s cuz they announced physicals but that’s such a dumb reason that I don’t wanna believe it)

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

IDGAF THAT HE HAD A SAD BACKSTORY HES A TERRIBLE PERSON BOOOOOOOOOO

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

BOOOOOO FUCK THIS GUY BOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY ARE YOU KISSING KEY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 27/12/2024

Oh nice! Hopefully they bring it back soon!

020

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Also why is his height redacted? I know he’s shorter than me but I wanted confirmation to call him short. I better get a Risa profile next volume so I can at least interpolate

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Read the first volume of Love, That’s an Understatement and I need volume 2 (physically) ASAP! They were so cute, I need more of them injected into my veins immediately like gaaaaaaah. Also Risa please make sure Zen does not need to repeat a year 😭

310

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

I got an email from the library saying my book was ready for pick up so I went on my lunch break just now and I forgot to bring the returns with me 🤦‍♂️ Anyway I got the final volume of Noragami, I think I might make it my first read of the new year cuz that seems fun

041

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Anyway I thought it was cool that the color pages in the beginning were fold out instead of the normal spread so we don’t lose the middle bit, it’s a nice touch. Also it’s hardcover, idk why but I do like knocking on hardcovers

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Context to what might have been Kajiwara’s thoughts the day he disappeared from their lives. Speaking of Kajiwara though YOU WERE MARRIED WITH CHILD GO SAY HI TO YOUR OLD FRIEND WHY’D YOU HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THAT? Also how he died isn’t important but I’m nosy I wanted to know 😔

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Him why are you still insecure 😭 Low stakes love triangle yet all he can think about is his wife leaving him 😔 I thought it was great to have Kajiwara’s son make them relive that part of their life and show that no, Touko was never gonna leave Koutarou while also giving more

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Hereditary Triangle was really good! Low stakes love triangle is kinda crazy but what’s crazier is that best friends just never saw each other for 20 years over it 😭 I think Koutarou worries were valid in the beginning but like c’mon dude she didn’t leave you 20 years ago for

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 25/12/2024

Read Luciole Has a Dream and why must you be on hiatus after that cliffhanger what kind of cruel punishment is this 😭 It was really interesting though, and I’m very curious on Luciole’s past since he doesn’t remember anything. Also the backgrounds are gorgeous

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Merry Yaoimas to me apparently, and I don’t even celebrate! Also Kabukicho Bad Trip came with a Living with Him bookmark and I’m not using that, it’s too precious

Left to Right:
Our Sweet One Room Apartment
Kabukicho Bad Trip 1
Perfect Buddy 2

And some bonuses with the Living with Him bookmark and Kabukicho pin :D

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Oh also I did not realize Nico was older than Keiichi, I’m so used to the dead person being older in these so that was a fun twist lol (unless it wasn’t a twist and I just wasn’t paying attention….)

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Read though, especially when he started hurting Yuuta after kidnapping him 😖 I’m really happy with the ending though, I thought it was so cute (2/2)

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 24/12/2024

Last night I finished Ohana Holoholo 😭 what an amazing series. I loved the way Maya and Michiru’s relationship was slowly rebuilt throughout the series, and the thing to finally bring them together was Yuuta’s solo adventure, what a good boy. Nico’s breakdown was hard to (1/2)

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

Read the first volume of I Tamed My Ex-Husband’s Mad Dog and problematic age gap 🤩 Ok but actually this was solid, she stabs the crown prince’s leg which was super cool. I’m excited to see how Reinhardt will take revenge on the crown prince this time though cuz he’s garbage

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

I finished Senpai, This Can’t Be Love Brush Up (volume 1 apparently bc there’s another up for preorder) and I love them they are so cute gaaaaah they should stop doing this to me I can’t keep grinning like this. Can’t wait for the next (maybe final for realsies this time?) volume

Senpai, This Can’t Be Love! Brush Up
(In english) “Aren’t you supposed to be a couple? At least keep track of where he is!”
“!! I-I…”
“I just went to the bathroom.”

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

You people need to learn work life balance bc wdym 8 pm is time to wrap up?

Senpai, This Can’t Be Love! Brush Up
“Okay. It’s almost eight p.m. Time to finish up.”

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

And yes my unpopular opinion is we don’t have enough cat manga I need more

030

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

Nights with a Cat is so nice. AND the anime is airing again wow is this the best. I need these volumes to release faster cuz I need my next dose of Kyuruga expeditiously 😭

141

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

Read You’re My Cutie 9 and Yamaguchi-kun Isn’t So Bad 9 back to back and what a great decision this was. So much silly, so much cute, I love them both dearly. FREE THEM FROM DIGITAL JAIL COWARDS

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Yeaaaaah it was not a fun time 😭 All’s well that ends well though

Also I’ve known for a while that some other libraries had the normal edition of Girl From the Other Side but when I looked it up I saw a different (closer) library had the deluxes so that’s what I yoinked 😊

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

I went to the library just to grab stuff early for my 2025 tbr and I did not stick to the list….AND I’LL DO IT AGAIN 😤 Also Colette and Nina I’m just taking out so they see people borrowing it and get more. Anyway guess who doesn’t have space for all of this 🙂

Tonight I read Beautiful Things and I was enjoying it and THEN IT ENDED AND WHERE IT ENDED IS LIKE A VOLUME ENDER NOT A SERIES ENDER THIS ISN’T FAIR. I WANT MY SLOWBURN PROBLEMATIC ROMANCE ENDING GAAAAAH

Beautiful Things: The Complete Manga Collection (Volumes 1-2 Omnibus)

010

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 20/12/2024

I think if you liked Somari and the Forest Guardian then you would absolutely love this series as they’re both episodic fantasy adventure series with a monster adult and human child duo

“Klimburg soldiers are a bunch of ninnies?”
“That was name-calling, not a password.”
“You’re telling me.”

“I think I can perform! Thank you!”
*flashback* “He wouldn’t trick Milly, would he?”
*back to present* *shock* “We did trick her!!”

After having it out from the library for two months, I finally read Nicola Traveling Around the Demons’ World and it was amazing! Nicola and Simon are great together and have some really good found family moments, especially around Simon’s dad. Such a feel good, adorable series!

Sorry I updated manga before planning to watch it 😔

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

It’s been especially bad recently cuz it feels like the 10th time this month (I’m exaggerating but like it’s been a lot) and I’m tired just reading it

100

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

-the volume goes on. I especially really loved the last chapter with the Woolly Mammoth art exhibit, mostly because of the ending with the cake cuz that was adorable. Anyway I recommend, hopefully my library gets volume 2 soon

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 19/12/2024

Read the first volume of The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store and this was fun! There’s this one manager guy who pops out of the most random places and honestly I aspire to be his level of crazy. It’s episodic but it’s pretty cool to see Akino improving at her job as-

Wait that’s so rude?? Your thread was great! Gave me a whole bunch of yuri and bl to try for next year

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

The mail has arrived :D and long have we waited (6 months) for The Moon on a Rainy Night 6 and we will wait even longer for volume 7 cuz Kodoodoo hates us or something (it’s still not up for preorder 😭) and Don’t Call it Mystery’s got a big gap between volumes now too 😔

Top row, left to right:
The Moon on a Rainy Night 6
Luciole Has a Dream 1
Nights with a Cat 4
Senpai, This Can’t Be Love: Brush Up

Bottom row, left to right:
Hereditary Triangle (Hardback 2-in-1)

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Overall I still really enjoyed it but yeah. Also I’m like 90% sure Risako likes Kaoru but that’s not important tbh

So Uta’s brother emotionally cheated on Kaoru but he only married her cuz he felt guilty for not telling Kaoru’s mom that he would take care of Kaoru before she died which like, fine, that’s kinda on the mom. They do divorce though so that’s cool. But uhhh the ending shows that Uta and Kaoru live together once Uta is a working adult and I’m gonna pretend it’s not romantic bc even though I love problematic age gaps I like the ending where Uta accepts her love being unrequited….so yeah

000

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Finished If I Could Reach You! Tbh this was tailor made for me, idk why I didn’t pick this up earlier. Super angsty, I loved Uta and her journey to accept that her love will most likely be unrequited. Anyway spoiler thoughts below about the ending cuz I have some issues w/ it

110

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

The Metalhead Next Door was so cute! Like it was angsty but also very adorable so best of both worlds really. Kento did a bad thing though 😔 It’s ok though they get together and the best part is Kento got romance counseling from a 3 year old

Flawless chapter covers do not miss, like this is awesome

020

Sorryteam @sorryteamna.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

The wife doesn’t have feelings for her so it’s fine (probably) but also she’s got shitty parents and a friend who’s in her own yuri love triangle situationship thing like this is prime real estate! Anyway I’m obviously into it and will finish tomorrow so I’m excited
