Her lens is dirty, the motorized tracking system broken. Oxidation on metal parts. And it could overall use a good clean up. Hopefully there is a good telescope hiding in there.

Deeply hidden away in a basement I found these speakers stored for like 30+ years. Turned out to be very decently built so I thought I would update them to the modern standard. A fun lazy afternoon project that was really rewarding. Now to find a new home for them...

Is it just me, or is this the most funniest Scolopendra species I ever saw in our alien collection?

Also a new addition: WiFi (or WiFiZilla) now in person looking angry at the world. Getting her printed was one struggle, building the platform was another. But she came out great and I love her! Credit goes to the skilled @ironwood115.bsky.social who brought her from 2D to 3D beauty!

I present to you: Wire's personal (fursuit) reference sheet. Although almost looking like WiFi, there are some differences with him. And now after years he more then deserved this. Enjoy! Made by the talented Amur. www.furaffinity.net/user/~amur~

Hopefully next Artemus missions I will be able to track the spacecraft myself for a bit. (No plans to reprogram it by remote and send it to Mars unannounced)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdp_... This was kinda my ultimate fantasy I worked so hard on in the past. But a budget, time and people with skills are needed to do this. I found that out the hard way. Its good to see that many creative ones have built their dreams into reality like this impressive build

So sad to visit a workshop from someone who recently died. All those tools waiting for their owner but he will never come. Selling everything was what remained for the family. I adopted this massive Grundig Universal meter UV4. With the biggest meter face I could find in the EU. (Restored now)

Tried small futuristic modelling. When I was little I saw this cartoon that has this broadcast tower that I remodelled with paper and wood. Given my short work in real television towers I thought it was time to do it again with 3D printing and discover mistakes, improvements and fun in modelling.

Got the opportunity to build an awesome bit of space technology a few months ago. It went around on Eurofurence with its owner @carbinecoyote.bsky.social Some stuff is 3D printed and metal parts were added later. And custom fitted for this fursuit head without the need for magnets to stay in place

Fulfilled another item on my bucketlist. I have been on top of that! For 20 years I wondered what it would look like inside. Unfortunately all the antennas and dishes up there are now gone. It's mostly empty except for radio and telecom. But I loved the 1970's history that one could see all around

Not much of a trash picker, but when I saw this bright white without a scratch microwave sitting homeless on the street I wondered why. Took me 45 minutes to clean out the exploded cheese and air it all out. But it works fine and deserves a second life instead of the landfill now.

Somtimes one has to recognize what lines you don’t want to cross. Projects that take so long and take so much time it is more worth to cancel then to pursue them. Although I always gave it a second place and set higher priorities to people and more needed projects it is time to stop and reflect.

So... Lost another job unsurprisingly. This time it's a lack of vision, money and again absolutely nobody listens to the workers. And so all have left now including me. A loss of the best coworkers (practically family at this point) I ever had. In two weeks a new future starts, hope it will go well
