just off the top of my head, but this feels very true... roughly in order of when i first heard them. might be crazy to put the last two when they're so recent but i feel like i'm currently being shaped by a lot of new music these past few years so it'd feel wrong not to have them

my 9 albums
the sound that made me

Chuck- Sum 41
Meteora - Linkin Park
Hypnotize - System of a Down
The Black Parade - My Chemical Romance
Heartland - Owen Pallett
Dreamt For Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain - Sparklehorse
In Our Heads - Hot Chip
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers - Kendrick Lamar
BULLDAWG - Kenny Mason

there's a longer trailer where komaeda says "please... believe me...!!" like he's going to cry and i'm enjoying it. also this shot. i don't care what you do to him so long as it makes me salivate

danganronpa 2x2 image of komaeda looking nervous, hinata looking resolute, and the new guy clenching his fist seriously

flowers -le volume sur automne-, 2020

various sketches of fanart for the visual novel series "flowers," specifically the autumn volume.
-erika tries to read the halo novelization while chidori reads over her shoulder and won't stop talking
-ichigo and ringo sasaki happily cling close to yuzuriha, who is blushing and laughing nervously. nerine is behind them, smiling angrily
-erika and chidori sitting together. erika says "you know, the suit jacks him off." chidori says "really? i had no idea"
-ringo and yuzuriha both think to themselves "NO IT DOESN'T" while holding tea

completely inscrutable fanart for joseph anderson's umineko streams from last year. don't worry about it.

"faitow," a personification of "faffing about in the open world," wearing shannon's outfit from umineko and giving a grin and peace sign. "saitow," a personification of "slaving away in the open world," wearing kanon's outfit from umineko and holding proper furniture posture.

i don't know how to. uhh. okay, so there's a character named "anne french fry," who is the personification of a hypothetical about taking home leftover french fries. she's wearing maria ushiromiya's outfit and a little red beret. there's a giant french fry sticking out of her bag. the text reads:
Anne, who gave you that french fry?!
Uu-!! I told you, it was Ronald Mcdonald, uu-!!

the same anne french fry, but now grinning evilly. the text reads:
Why would you take a single french fry with you? Just eat it at the airport.
Kihihihihihihi. That's not possible. With Ronald Mcdonald's magic, he will keep feeding you french fries until you're full.
But it's just AN fry, I could--
Kihihihihihihi. You can't eat another fry. Because Ronald Mcdonald will keep feeding you fries until you're full. If you could eat another fry, you aren't full.
Sure, but I control how many fries I buy. I won't buy more than I can eat.
You don't believe, do you? Kihihihihihi. You better not disrespect him. Ronald Mcdonald will keep feeding you fries until your stomach explodes, kihihihihihihihihihihihihihi.
...???

fido-chan, who i don't know how to explain. she's smiling and holding a can of soup in her oversized-sleeve-covered hands, and humming a little tune. the text reads:
-New servant on Rokkenjima
-Not permitted to wear the Golden Beacoi
-Has the family conference off
-Grocery shopping while Faitonon is laying dead
-Doesn't know

old coquette dragoon fanart from 2021/2019... i always reach for some out-of-focus pairing like suzy/ayane lol. i must draw something new soon

Coquette Dragoon fanart. ayane leans back on suzy, holding suzy's glasses up to her own eyes to try them hold. suzy looks tired and irritated. she is holding a document labeled "TOP SECRET: GIRL EXTRUSION"

Coquette Dragoon fanart. suzy, cima, ayane, and xio sit at a bartop. suzy holds a pencil and looks serious. cima holds a glass of whiskey by the rim. ayane is smoking a big fat cigarette in front of a no smoking sign and xio seems worried about it. honey and emil are sitting at a table in the background glaring at them all

New visual novel: Displacement of Water. sopy.itch.io/displacement... Woman-killing time loop yuri. 53k words. Several routes that lead to one inevitable conclusion. Adults only. No audio. Has weird stuff in it. #ToxicYuriVNJam

a woman in a button-up glares at the camera, arms tied above her head. the text reads: "Whatever the case, I'm not picking up any of her body odor. I'd have thought she'd be sweating a little more, given her circumstances."

woman with a baseball cap drools happily, another woman with a braid pulled in front of her shoulder smiles. the text reads: "Wenny: That potato salad was craaaazyyyyyy."

a woman shrouded in darkness stares languidly below the camera. a weird little cartoon angel pops out from behind her with a silly smile. the text reads: "Angel: This is boringgggggg."

it's called "Displacement of Water" by the way. working feverishly #toxicyurivnjam

A woman with a cross necklace angrily chastises a woman in a trench coat. The text reads: "Harmonica: But you're paying them to cook the eggs how you like."

A woman with a cross necklace wears a trouble expression, talking to a woman with a long braid pulled over her shoulder. The text reads: "Harmonica: I hope she isn't causing trouble for the other volunteers..."

Woman in a baseball cap and an oversized shirt pouts in front of a plate of spaghetti al pomodoro. The text reads: "Wenny: No meatballs or mushrooms or anything?!"

happy mother's day. i'd say that episode 3 is the "mother episode" of spare parts but it kind of only gets denser with various mothers from here on #spapa

screenshot from Spare Parts: Episode 3. a woman with her eyes obscured touches a hand to her chest and smiles. the scene is bathed in a light pink fog. the text reads:
"Let's get you hooked up... There we are. All comfortable?
Good. Now, relax. I'm going to look over the data as it transfers, so I'll need quiet for a moment, okay?
Yes, here you are. Squeeze my hand if you need to. But I promise nothing bad will happen."

screenshot from Spare Parts: Episode 3. the same woman is zoomed in on, covered in red static. the text reads: "what's hurting you?"
