Happy Holidays!! This is my gift to @fluffybabybirds.bsky.social for the PhoenixFlare Discord's Secret Santa event! (@phoenixflare.bsky.social) Magic has left the world, but the Eikons live on as constellations in the starry night sky. [Watercolor] #PhoenixFlare #PhoenixFlareSecretSanta #FFXVI

Watercolor painting of Dion Lesage and Joshua Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16 sitting cuddled close together on a pier looking up at the night sky. The Milky Way is a blaze of color, bright blues, pinks, greens, purples, and yellows, and is reflected in the water of the lake below. In the sky, Phoenix and Bahamut appear as constellations of stars.

Thank you sm ;-; There's something odd with the email, they're listed as "on queue" and not sending, just a heads up for the future, I've never had that with emails before so idk if it's a big cartel thing ;-;

RIGHT!?!?!?!?! Like I would get if they told me they don't ship them/like them, but she rlly went "Really? Why (do you ship them)?" and I was so stunned bc nobody asked me that before in the 11 years they've been my OTP. You explained it perfectly, it's sad they don't get it tbh 😭😭😭😭

I told her I ship them and she's like "But why?" and it's as if she asked me "Why do you breathe?" fr 😭😭😭 She's like "I only ship Roxas and Xion" and I honestly didn't know what to say 😭 If anything they make perfect sense so I'm truly befuddled, I was so mad I didn't even ask her to elaborate 🤣

Exactly, the more I think about it the more sense it makes bc if they want these three to ultimately be on good terms, it's not like they can change the voicelines to reflect that in the future, so inadvertently the only choice is to go 180 like this.

🌻✨️ Kat @ Metaphor Re:Fantazio 🧚‍♀️ @sophkat7.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Yes thank you, a lot of moots are taking it very hard and keep pointing out how ass writing it is, so me not feeling as strongly about it bc I'm otherwise glad they're on good terms puts me in a "Am I wrong?" Position and I want to look after my mental health. So I try to stay in my lane 🥲

🌻✨️ Kat @ Metaphor Re:Fantazio 🧚‍♀️ @sophkat7.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

And for moots who are disappointed and/or angry about the voice lines, I fully understand and respect that, but in such cases it's important to respectfully disagree on some aspects of our faves and their relationships towards others.

thank you, its sums what in my mind and Ratio position, I'm sad when seeing people start bashing Ratio for acknowledge that Sunday realizing his mistake and change. They not suddenly became bff but don't forget Ratio is a teacher, he will approve someone who want to use their head and change.

🌻✨️ Kat @ Metaphor Re:Fantazio 🧚‍♀️ @sophkat7.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

Another thing regarding the voice lines: we gotta keep in mind these are PERMANENT. So they weren't going to write petty lines and then change them when Ratiorine eventually warmed up to Sunday. So even though it is rushed, we gotta accept this is the writers' endgame relationship among these 3 men.
