Why aren't more ICE guys getting shot? A group of creepily masked, unfit men chasing and kidnapping people from cars, on the street, from houses. No ID visible. Lots of people with guns for protection in the US People are shot for ringing the wrong doorbell, but these guys just do their thing. /1

It's astounding how fragile democracy can be. It has taken less than a year for the US to descend to the brink of becoming a fascist state. I'm glad my country has a multiparty system, because I'm pretty sure the 2party thing has really helped Trump (and Project 2025) get this far.

I don't think anybody should be shot for their opinions. Even if that opinion includes thinking it's worth a few people getting shot in order to protect the second amendment. I can't say I'm super sad, but I would definitely prefer it didn't happen.
