A peak inside my process - from rough flow line thumbnail, to rough sketch, to neater sketch, to colour sketch, to polished spread! I love looking back at the original thumbnail and comparing it to the end result! #childrensillustration #behindthescenes #procreate #kidlitart #kidlit #picturebook

Scroll for some insight into the character design process for this project. This was my first customisable book, so it needed lots of different options for personalisation, such as different hairstyles and clothing options. #illustration #kidlit #art #picturebook #childrensbook #characterdesign

Scroll for my thumbnail/colour process from ‘It’s Time For Bed’. Messy thumbnails are always such a hard thing to show, they always looks so bad and often only make sense to the person who’s drawn them 😅 #illustration #kidlit #kidlitart #art #picturebook #childrensbooks #colour #colourtheory
