Contamination OCD is so expensive. I can’t buy fresh groceries because if they’re not used within 24 hours my brain says they’re contaminated and they’ll make me sick. So I either have to get frozen food or something ready-made which ends up costing more

Hopefully the final update: Kidney infection is mostly cleared up, nearly finished my antibiotics. The diarrhoea is now also vomiting and it turns out I have a stomach virus separate from the kidney infection, just poor timing on my immune systems part tbh. I’m resting and hoping to feel better fast

CW for poop talk. Still getting the pain and now diarrhoea too. A lil bit dehydrated and absolutely exhausted but when I take pain meds I’m able to sleep for a few hours at a time. Apparently vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach/abdominal pain can be a side effect of my antibiotics. Heading back to bed🫶🏻

Honestly the pain lets up every now and again and in those 10 seconds I convince myself there’s nothing wrong. Tbf I probably just need different antibiotics. If I can’t get to a hospital today then it just wasn’t meant to be. I’m sure if it’s bad enough to kill me I can call an ambulance

Woke up today with severe stomach cramping pain I am rolling around crying out every 2-3 minutes. Called my doc he said it’s in my notes to go to the hospital with stomach or abdominal pain but my daughter is home sick from school and my family can’t look after her so no hospital for meeee

My dr: if your symptoms don’t improve in 24 hours you may need to be hospitalised Me who’s been taking the meds for 24 hours now but I’m only feeling worse: 😀 Also it says on the medication not to take it with diuretics because of dehydration but I’m on diuretic meds atm
