Because it keeps the relationship going. Instead of resenting Suwon for it, punishing him or cutting things off forever bc of it he simply responds to it by asking back now. And it took so long for Hak to become Suwon's equal and allow himself to ask and give him what he wants

Suwon visibly felt guilty and bad about asking Hak things and counting on him after the coup like in the sei forts so it's neat to have Hak asks things back + push Suwon to keep asking Hak help like in ch262 too and giving him even without asking

And it's like. Suwon thought he was unable to ever give Hak what he wants, and it was a long way for Hak to be able to express that what he wants is actually for Suwon to be no one but himself in the ways that makes him amazing and brilliant but also vulnerable at times
