They can only go on the info provided to them which is a failing of both the GRRC & SF to provide up to date info. 28 years is a long time & most people would assume that attitudes would have soften in that time but obviously this was not conveyed to PC & PSNI. GRRC & SF cut corners like the PC.

Yep the PC ballsed up, but when the Court made the decision to overturn the decision both the residents assoc & SF were too slow to react because they thought the same decision would be made as the previous 28 years. If I was a Garvaghy Rd resident, I would be asking serious questions to GRRC & SF.

There is very little that he can do. The Parades Commission made a decision on the evidence provided to it by the Orange Order, the Residents and Sinn Fein and other policians. This has been upheld by the High Court. As far as I know, he can't overrule a Court decision.
